Malec sneak peek

Okay about that sneak peek...I'm conflicted. I honestly wasn't expecting them to be...idk so harsh and mad at each other? Maybe I was expecting more "heartbroken cliché tumblr-esque moping around" rather than fighting (like I was prepped for the former but not this!!), and maybe that's my fault. But like tbh idek what they're mad at EACH OTHER for really (mad at the Clave/Valentine/Seelie Queen, okay yes, but at each other?) because in 2x18 Magnus was sad to leave Alec but he did what he believed was right for his people. So the whole "breakup" wasn't because Alec specifically did anything really wrong or unforgivable and vica versa neither did Magnus, like THAT WASN'T WHAT HAPPENED. But now they're making it out to seem that way and I'm not sure if I like it. I also am not a big fan of Malec fighting in general because I have enough anxiety already so that may be part of my reservations but still lmao. Taking a deeper look at the situation, though, Magnus is probably acting so rude in a vain attempt to try and push Alec further away to minimize the casualties of their relationship as the war unfolds, and Alec is likely responding with equal frustration, trying to understand what exactly went wrong and why Magnus is so hellbent on the idea that suddenly NOW their relationship is impossible (as if it wasn't rare & unusual to begin with). So maybe their anger isn't unfounded. But god, why do they have to be so goddamnit mean about it? Y'ALL ARE SOULMATES, AT LEAST SHOW SOME PAIN RESULTING FROM THIS SEPERATION. God knows I feel it!!
