Many replies, so under a cut for sheer length. @the Anon wondering why I always write ‘message references this post’ or ‘msg refs this post’ with a link, it’s because I like being able to easily navigate the context and conversation that was being mentioned/responded to whenever I go back and read old posts & replies, that’s all. TRESPASSER SPOILERS UNDER CUT
aurrius added: I love it when the chantry is wrong about something.
It is satisfying and vindicating-feeling, isn’t it? Particularly since so far only Dalish lore/faith is what’s gone through the ‘LOL U WERE SO WRONG’ ringer. I think what we must do now is re-go over every scrap of lore about the Veil and what things like the Chantry say about it, in light of what we now know.
youpieceofpoopoo added: maker what’s good?
mmostuff added: Baaaaahahahahaha
I had a good chuckle. :D
safetytank said: in that case, so many of us banged the maker
My question now is, has Solas’ work with the Veil simply been taken for the work of the Maker by the Chantry/Andrastians, or is a lot more of their ideas of the Maker based on the Dread Wolf? He has an intriguing banter with Cass about the Maker. [above msgs ref this post]

qunalot added: My Inquisitor Bennoch is actually half-Avvar, his mother Tamra being an augur who traveled to Ostwick from her hold and got bizzay with Bann Trevelyan. Before he was legitimized Ben tried to re-join his mom’s hold but they turned him away for being half a lowlander. It broke his heart, and he never felt like he belonged to to his mother’s people or the nobles in Ostwick.
After Jaws of Hakkon, he got the legend-mark “Blood-Son,” affirming that, at least to the Avvar in Stone-Bear, that he is a son of the Avvar. Post-trespasser he actually returns to Stone-Bear and lives there, happy as can be.
Oh awesome! I love this backstory and Bennoch is a really great name. Thanks for sharing with me. I enjoy his post-Trespasser life that you envision for him, it’s a lovely mental image. :) [msg refs this post]

sirensrequiem said: I was really hoping the elder one was an old God…lol
yeah same, or something else akin in strength and power. not a failed silly priest of one, lol. but there’s an excellent compelling antagonist now in solas, and they could be holding back the remaining old gods for future games perhaps.
thekingoforzammar said: I’ve also had some experience calling out things, like the Elves going to war with the Titans (before Trespasser was even announced) or Red Lyrium being related to the Darkspawn and Blight (from the DAII days). No one believed me but I laugh now =P
your posts on the elves and the titans + the blight etc are excellent, I really like them :> [above msgs ref this post]
charamei said: Really intrigued how this is going to play out considering we usually start a new PC each game though. It seems a bit big to leave to Quizzy-as-cameo to resolve, esp with the romance option
I want quiz to be the one who deals with Solas. I think the speculation that they might not use a new PC for 4 holds some merit. tho theres no guarantees of course. [msg refs this post]

arcadesimsstuff added: Yeah I always thought it was, especially when I realized that it was the same song as the one at the end of Origins that’s in Elvish. I was like. Oh, ha. That’s Bioware. *Cries in corner*

zimtkind said: I want to know too. You can still be together right? Even if you don’t want to sign a contract?
I was helpfully informed by a cullenite nonnie that the happy ending doesn’t change if you decline the offer of marriage, he respects the decision and you still stay together happy :) thanks nonnie. nice touch for RP of BW, not everyone wants to get married. [msg refs this post]
kestrelsansjesses said: I wonder if Abelas would want to see another world end so catastrophically again.
good question.. I’m leaning towards him agreeing with the DW given their ToM exchange and Abelas’ apparent attitude to modern elves.
zectic said: I just realized that must have meant when he was like elvhen like u? like yes me, fenharel, come work w me abelas

something big went down at Weisshaupt and is occuring with the Wardens, see also the DAI epilogue mysterious Warden war and split. plot thread taken into next game for sure. for the moment I’m just glad hawke came back safe. now I hope Warden Sibling and the living HoF don’t get caught up in it.
