Malia Lars in her Rebel pilot guise as a Lego minifgure, along with her droid R4-A60. Malia's a pretty simple custom; I took the female pilot head and one of the helmets from the 2018 Sandspeeder set and combined them with a standard Rebel pilot torso and legs, in this case from the 2024 X-wing vs TIE Fighter mashup set. R4-A60 meanwhile is the generic red Astromech that Lego used to include in sets in the early years of Lego Star Wars. I'd love to see an updated version of this guy just for old time's sake! In the Farmer's Adventure series, Malia participated in the Battle of Yavin, piloting an X-wing under the callsign Red Eight. She was one of four survivors of the battle, along with Luke, Wedge and Evaan Verlaine.

Dreis flew straight through a heavy hail of flak. "Lars, let me know when ya goin' in." he said to Malia.

"I'm on my way in now." Malia replied as she pitched the nose of her X-wing down to start her attack dive.

"Watch yourself!" Dreis warned. "There's a lot of fire coming from the right side of that deflection tower."

"I'm on it." Malia acknowledged, and she flung her X-wing into a twisting dive towards the Death Star's surface, dodging the flak from a protruding tower and letting rip with fire from her own laser cannons. Several small radar emplacements erupted in flames as Malia's shots struck their targets. Skilfully, the young woman maneuvered her craft through a wall of laser fire and peeled away upwards towards the heavens.
