7: Where did the title come from? This is sort of a boring answer, I called it Transcendence because the word transcendence means: existence or experience beyond the normal or physical level. Which is a pretty accurate way to describe Sage and her experiences at Eichen.
8: Did any real people or events inspire any part of it?No I don’t think so. I’m writing this particular fic because I wasn’t a fan of the way Stiles and Malia’s time at Eichen House was portrayed, that’s literally the only reason. Sage and her experiences aren’t inspired by anyone, I just thought her up one day and here we are.
11: What do you like best about this fic?As far as I’m aware, I’ve never read a fic with a similar story to this so I’m pretty pleased with that. I also quite like that it’s not going to have any ships, the focus is on Sage not her potential love interest. (I hope other people like that too oh man it would suck if they didn’t)
15: What did you learn from writing this fic?I’m only a couple of chapters in so far but I’ve learnt a lot. I’ve been doing a lot of research in an attempt to portray Sage and the other characters in Eichen House accurately. So I’ve been looking up quite a bit on mental illnesses. It’s been educational thats for sure!
