i definitely understand. n ofc id credit you and all. and like i dont see it as like a fleshed out story, but just imagining like another drabble. but i cant decide if i wanted it to be when reader left or three weeks or a month, after the fact and they see each other, some exchanging of words nothing really more than small talk and then it kind of just ends after that with the realization that reader isn't getting hoseok back and that he will eventually move on and should she 1/2

but honestly as i typed this out and the more i think about it, i dont even know anymore. it was a strong idea that seemed like if i just sat down and wrote it would write itself out but now im thinking i dont know anymore n am most likely talking myself out of it. its okay if you say no lol. i wont be bothered. i just keep reading the fic and thinking but what happens next? . 2/2

Oh yeah, I get it. Like I said before, I really prefer to keep the story as it is, and I really don’t think it would be a good idea to let someone else continue or finish it for me. I’ve seen people writing spin-offs for existing stories before and I can’t see myself allowing anyone to do that unless I am offering them to do that first. Honestly, after many accounts of plagiarism happening in the past, I’m a bit more careful in this kind of things. I might be a bit paranoid, or possessive to the idea I wrote haha If what you were intending to do was to write something using the same trope, then I won’t mind it at all. I’m actually quite flattered to know if my writing inspired you, in a way. That’s actually part of the reasons why I love creating stories with cliffhangers, because it allows readers to imagine and choose their own endings however they want it to.

this may be odd to ask and youre free to say no of course, but I really love Malice. Ive read it a few hundred times now and Im so interested in the characterization of the reader and hoseok and their relationship, that I have to know what happens next. And Im so curious that I want to write it. I dont have plans for getting them back together but more like an update on where life is. Do you mind if I do or wld you prefer to do it yourself?

Hey there, love. I’m sorry this took me so long to answer because I needed some time to consider (plus I’ve also been gone a lot lately T^T)

Thank you so much for giving Malice so much love! The drabble was an interesting one to write but it’s pleasing to see everyone loving it and how readers are finding that fic again after so long. As to the story, I have considered it as finished, so I have never thought of any plan on continuing or writing anything out of it again. As for your idea about writing something out of it on my behalf, I’m not really sure what to think of it. I have to be honest that even though I have no further plans for it, I still don’t think that it would be a good idea to have anyone else writing it for me either. Perhaps it’s just my paranoia about giving a chance for people taking my ideas away from me. It’s not that I am claiming the trope as mine, since tropes are openly available for people to use and I certainly did not create the trope of lovers hurting each other as I did on Malice. The only thing I own from it is the story itself and I’ve never thought of having anyone writing a spin-off on my behalf. It’s highly flattering that you are interested in doing it though. Perhaps you’d like to share your ideas with me privately first, or something like that? Because as much as I want to keep the idea to myself, I’m also interested to see what kind of ideas you have in mind hahaha (call me curious lol)

Hey Dia!!! I know it's been a long time but I wanted to tell you how much I'm into your drabble Malice. I'm not usually one for angst but dear heavens this one really got to me. I legit cried!! I felt the OC's anxiety throughout the whole piece about getting caught and the absolute heartbreak at the end when Hoseok told her to leave. It was also interesting to see how both men made similar comments about this being the last time and one to remember. You tore me apart. Much love to you!!! 💕💕💕

Thank you so much. Malice is one of my short pieces that really memorable to write for. I am glad you loved it! I just wanted to reveal how much Hoseok and her side lover was actually pretty similar in many traits so I could show how ridiculous and unwarranted her infidelity was lol thanks for seeing that by the way :’)
