for annie was not supposed to be wandering around the faerie's realm at such a late hour. her beloved fiancé, finnick, had warned her of the magic that lay within the forest ; but annie was never one to be cautious in the wilderness. it was all she could trust, aside from her betrothed. so she had gone beyond the border line, instead of heeding his words.

which is how she found herself in this predicament ; nervously gripping at a tree's bark, as she tried to figure out a way to climb down said timber. and it was then, when she heard a rustling behind her.
