WTW PLANET PROMPTS - DAY FIVE // JUPITER: RELIGION
there will come a day when the goddesses abandon us for another world, won’t there?
SALIDON, goddess of the day, protector of the economy, face of procreation.
goddess of the day. wait for her warm embrace, lean into her touch, let her burn away the pain for good. they say you need only wait for the dawn past the Salidon Moon to witness her race across the sky, chasing a night she will never meet.
protector of the economy. don’t look to the trois-gostelle, child, pray to the goddess. you will have more luck with her than with the pretty lies the leaders hide behind. do not waste your time on such trivial matters; search the red moon for your answers.
face of procreation. she watches over the mothers, she watches over the babies. she will not leave anyone behind. and when she does, she will take them into the afterlife with her, where they will only live their days in bliss and harmony.
that day will not come for a long while, sweet child. rest.
ILYTHIA, goddess of the afternoon, protector of the people, face of health.
goddess of the afternoon. sink into her glaring heat, be blinded by her pure emotions. she will not lead you astray; rather, she will guide you to the best path you can take. they say you can find her peeking around the trees, watching and keeping you safe. don’t turn back to check.
protector of the people. she will not let you drown, she will not let you burn. the trois-gostelle are only human, innocent one, and you must remember that. they may promise and speak of grand things, but who knows if they’ll come to fruition? no, only watch the path of the blue moon.
face of health. you will never get sick under her care; be free and run wild, child, she will make sure you do not fall ill, make sure you are fit to play all day and all night. she is the cure to all ailments and you will never feel another ache in your back again, that is her magic.
but what if it does, mother? what then?
MALIFOIN. goddess of the night, protector of the kingdom, face of love.
goddess of the night. she is the moon, she is the stars, she is the black that settles over the world like a blanket not quite warm yet. she guards your house against the dark creatures, little one, so that you are safe in your bed, safe from harm, she is cold but she loves as much as her sisters.
protector of the kingdom. she guards elysia against those who wish it harm. she watches the gates, a circling hawk, ever-present. she keeps it close to her heart when war comes, and when it leaves, she spreads her love through the bloody fields and regrows all the flowers.
face of love. she is guardian of the grey moon, but love is not restricted to just one colour; love is everything good and everything bad. she kisses your forehead and tells you to ask that person out. she hugs you after a breakup and says it’s all right. and it will be. because she’s there.
i’d tell you “may the goddesses save us all”, but we might be beyond saving.
