Hello! Hope you're having a great day! I'm going around asking this question to my fav IFs, so here you go! How would the ROs react to an affectionate biter MC? Like, just comes up randomly and bites their shoulder (nibbles? No, that's too soft. Like, between a bite bite and nibbles, a soft nom nom) Like, I'm bad with words, but nom nom.

'I'm anxious?' nom, 'I love you' nom, 'how are you so cute' nom

I'm imagining a romanced RO, but honestly, friend RO also seems entertaining af. Like, 'Oh hi, meet my friend, MC. They're an emotional biter.' Meanwhile, MC just, noms noms away cause anxiety and loads of emotions.

PFM:

Jewel: “Should I buy you a pacifier?” but she’s amused because her sister did the same when she was teething

Reed: already thinking on how to turn this into smth he can brag about to his coworkers ngl

Laurent: well a bite is almost like a kiss so he’s just happy to be there lol

Nino: “I’m going to gag you.” and that’s a warning

Flavio: finds it funny at first but if MC keeps at it, he will start (unconsciously) mimicking them

Alan: “Keep that for the bedroom, all right?”

FMO:

Rez: bites back harder

Mirren: doesn’t mind or react much, quickly grows used to it, would probably notice more if MC stopped doing that

Lotar: “Do that again, darling, and I’ll have to bite you back, it’sss only fair, no?”

Saltire: depending on the biting place, would either laugh or well... just maybe don’t do that when there are other people around

Malitiose: as a bitter himself/herself would enjoy it a lot a lot, would probably lead to smth more than just a bite tho

So,what would each RO do to comfort/apologize to MC if they thought MC was upset with them for some reason? e.g. explain themselves, tease them, take them somewhere nice, etc

Ofc it’s ok! Let’s see, I’m not sure which game you meant, so I’ll do both.

PFM:

Jewel and Reed: would apologize before they even knew what they did lol Jewel’s anxiety would eat here alive and she has to ask and know right now this instant, and Reed just hates when MC is mad at him (bc no hugs/kissies)

Laurent: 2 AM call to Flavio be like ‘I think MC hates me now, their frown was 1.2mm deeper than usual... What do you mean if I asked? What’s there to ask about, I have eyes don’t I??’ + he’s the type who’d /think/ MC is mad at him and habitually apologize for his imaginary faults, so he has a general reflex of making sure MC is NOT mad from time to time

Nino: usually doesn’t care about ppl’s hurt feelings or any feelings in general, but with MC she’d try not to be thoughtless and mean on purpose. She could still slip up, though, and not realize that. It would take her a while to realize what’s going on, and depending on how MC goes about it, her response and behaviors would differ. Generally, tho she’d ask MC directly what she could do to comfort them, and do just that

Flavio: would probably know what he did or at last that he /did/ upset or anger MC, especially given that he spent the first like months of their acquaintanceship deliberately pissing them off. He’d apologize right away, bc he doesn’t like to be in a conflict with ppl he cares about, and esp after Reed he does his best to resolve everything plainly and quickly to not let things fester 

Alan: fights the innate urge to fix problems with money to actually apologize and have a conversation, ah what love does to a mofo

FMO:

Mirren: firm believer of ‘letting MC come to him/her’ and ‘giving MC space’ until taught otherwise 🤡 he/she would be leaving gifts for MC and doing this for them, but generally try not to show them his/her face

Rez: “you are mad? no, *I* am mad!” Storms out, then crawls back into MC’s bed in the middle of the night, all bloodied up and muddy, “Don’t be mad, I brought you a gift/snack/severed head. Also, let’s kiss.” 🥴 nobody taught a weapon how to say ‘sorry,’ go figure

Lotár: puts on airs but crumbles like a wet tissue if MC as much as frowns, refuses to apologize but never does it again, resorts to bribes or blames it on someone else, has 233242 excuses as to why he/she did what he/she did, not sorry that they did it, but sorry that MC was hurt

Malitiose: would apologize regardless if he/she feels guilty or not, if MC is weak to him/her crying, would cry, if not would try to act cute, if that’s not it either, then try being apologetic, tries not to do it again where MC could see it

Saltire: would genuinely feel wretched, fumble around and prepare 10 pages essay before confronting MC abt it, bonus points if he/she ends up apologizing for the wrong thing lol

After MC and their LI spend some time doing horizontal tango MC sits up and goes "great warm up, now let's do it for real" to tease them, but they don't notice it's teasing at first, how does the LIs react?

I stole this from another blog because it was so adorable! How would the ROs react if they were to try to say something but couldn't, because mc kept peppering them with kisses on their face? The ROs could be from either perfumare or fool me once(love both of them❤️)

So, I know I was warned about making Mal cry on the Lotár/Malitiose LT route, but I was not prepared for the absolute gut punch that was Lotár's confession/rejection scene.

10/10, never doing something like that again

Okay, so I might have finished FMO at an ungodly hour and now I have a few questions:

1. I can understand the need to revert back to nothingness after an intense yearning session followed by a failed situationship, but wasn't there a way for Mirren to find purpose or love outside of MC? Why does he crave love/MC specifically so desperately that he can't see the possibility of finding someone/something else to bring him fullfilment the way Rez does?

2. Did Mirren know what was gonna happen once they or MC accepted the Queen's proposal? (Kudos for the "But you are also mine" line, I knew it was coming yet I was heartbroken still) If not and if Penelope's proposal ended with marriage, how was he going to deal with being married to her when he was still in love with MC? I don't imagine he would be content with having MC as his side piece

3. In the endings when Lotar disappears, does he do back to Inferno/moves to look for a cure? I assume he doesn't just give up, since death, especially his, offends him. (Kudos again, for the scene when he is unwell and smells Mal on MC, yearners the lot of them)

4. There is this line in one endings which says, more or less, that Mal moves on to find MC in another or something like that? Does she/he ever find what he is looking for? Also, why doesn't she/he keep in touch with befriended MC? Or maybe she/he does but I've prioritied ROs in all of my playthroughs and I've missed it lol.

5. The rivality between Rez and Ren is mostly described from Rez's lenses. How does their relationship looks like from Ren's point of view? And does she/he have any grievences regarding MC's relationship with Rez -> like how Rez fears he is just a cheap replacement for his brother.

1. It's not MC's love specifically, it's the purpose, and Mirren contrary to Rez is very single-minded and mellow. He/She also doesn't feel emotion the same way his/her twin does. Rez is more of a human/person, while Mirren is more of a sword/object, for him/her having a singular purpose is as natural as breathing, it's the fact of life and the purpose of /his/her existence. He/She doesn't question it.

Was there a way, sure, if something happened and Mirren found a new purpose, but the way the story went, it wasn't possible due to timing. There was little time for him/her to transition from loving MC to grieving them AND finding something compelling enough to stir his/her body and soul, and so he/she just gave up, because it was easier to be 'what he/she' was intended to be.'

2.Mirren didn't know, but a marriage, as Lotar would say, is not as binding as one might think ;) What I am saying is, they never intended to truly cooperate with Penelope, and the post-marriage would be a battle of who dies 'in an accident' first, so they wouldn't be married long either way.

4.Yes, in another playthrough, so to speak. I didn't focus on friendships at all in this game, I had too many other variables to wrap up, but I imagine depending on their bond they would meet again, or stay in contact. It's really up to the player.

5.Because it's a one-sided rivalry where Rez thinks they are competing against each other, and Mirren only passively witnesses it. Mirren in the LT thinks that Rez is using MC to get back at him/her. The same way how Rez says 'he/she wanted to join the army first and Mirren only tagged along' now Mirren thinks 'I loved MC first, and that's why Rez is acting this way towards them.' So Mirren is worried Rez is deceiving MC and/or is going to hurt them.

Would any of the pfm (and fmo cuz I already can't wait for the final product, AAAA) characters want kids? How would they react to the "joyous" news and how would they fare as parents? With fmo I guess that would have to be an adopted (ghost?) kiddo, but we can also pretend that undead things can create new forms of "life" (Bella and Edward sure did)

As for the FMO cast, yeah it's a fantasy so anything can be possible 😉

Do they want kids? Honestly, most of the cast is in positions where they never really gave it much serious thought, and if they did, the answer would be 'no' or 'not now' for various practical reasons. The reaction for them, too, would be a mix of 'oh shit' and 'how do we make this work?' but ultimately the response would depend more on MC's disposition towards the possible offspring.

Especially for Malitiose and Lotar, who are less used to and less inclined to care. They both were raised as unwanted and abandoned children, in Lotar's case this is a situation common for most demon parents and it is common and accepted as they lack any nurturing instincts whatsoever. As a caretaker, Lotar would do well tho, and would grow to love their child(ren). Like Lotar, Maltiose, at the end of the day, would always prioritize MC, but their children would never feel a lack of affection or attention from Mal as long as they are under MC's and Mal's care.

Mirren and Rez would enjoy the idea of a family, both would welcome the possibility of a child, an expression of them and MC. Mirren especially would be very doting, but both are fiercely protective. Rez would do well in a large family, with more than one child. Mirren's care can be a bit, uh, intense, so it might be better if it was spread over more than one kid as well.

Saltire never got along with kids after being released from the Otherworld, and given their upbringing as a hunter, they would be split between not knowing what to do, and using what they were taught which is nothing short of strict. With any other children, Saltire would seem more like a teacher than a parent, but given how quickly their heart softens for the people they love, Saltire would be prone to spoiling their kids rotten.

Heya, Rook. I am curious: which FMO char would PFM characters choose to romance? And who would FMO cast choose in the same situation?

Heya! I don't super love pairing my OCs together but I can tell you who would get along and who wouldn't, hope that's alright with you!

Nino and Rez would be besties, both have self-control the size of a peanut and would smack each other bloody for fun 🥴 Flavio would get along with them too, since they both resemble his merc crew w from back in the day

Mirren and Alan would be a part of the same book club, Mirren would try to get Alan to read smth other than romance, but good luck with that 🤭 Lotar and Alan would be business partners but they would have gotten along well as friends too

Reed and Malitiose would be rivals, frenemies if you will. They'd use each other to yap about their respective MCs and they'd go shopping together

Saltire and Jewel would be outdoors buddies, their dispositions are similar too so they would make great friends as well. Same with Flavio, Laurent, and Saltire.
