Past - Medusa wasn’t always evil. No one is born evil, but made that way. When Poseidon violated her, she hoped Athena would punish him and save her. When the Goddess did the exact opposite, Medusa was furious. Until her very last breath she vowed to herself to make her, and everyone who stayed silent about the matter, pay. That vow saved her and her sisters from the ultimate death and shoved them into the Curse, giving them an opportunity for a brand new life, without her memories.
Present - Mallory Murdock is a spiteful, secretive young woman. She feels like she was born into this life with a purpose and she feels an unexplainable rage, sitting inside of her like a toad. She knows there’s something wrong with her, her family and the world she lives in, but she can’t put her finger on it, she can’t really define what is that’s wrong. Only thing she knows is that she wants Thierry Bastion and that she feels something about the myth of Medusa he keeps telling her about.
Mallory - She doesn’t know why, but she hates the sea and owls. She’s allergic on olive trees and olives; being near one or eating the fruit makes her nauseous and itchy. Mallory likes snakes and everything about them. She’s planning on moving into her own flat and buying one as a pet. She always wears a silver ring shaped like a snake, with two emerald stones which shape its eyes — she got it from Thierry on her birthday when she started working for him couple of years ago.
Personality:
Positive (+) traits:
Adaptable - Mallory is calm and treacherous as the sea she despises so much. She can adapt to any situation and make it her own territory and her own game; not caring for the outcome. She knows having all the cards in her hands and ace in her sleeves will keep her safe and in control.
Patient - She lurks and waits. Waits for her time, waits for her opportunity, waits for her chance to strike where it hurts the most. Mallory is patient and she doesn’t mind waiting, knowing the best things (including revenge) comes in the right time.
Loyal - Mallory would sooner die than shifts her loyalties. She feels like she owes so much to Thierry Bastion and she would do anything to protect him and make him proud — and make him hers. Other than him, she tries hard to keep an eye on her sisters and shield them from any real harm.
Negative (-) traits:
Conflicted - She doesn’t really know what she wants. She’d determined to get Thrierry, but on the other side she doesn’t know what to do with all her rage and hatred piled up inside of her. She already embraced the sticky darkness and evil inside of her, but every now and then a dash of light and kindness shows. She’s determined to destroy it, but one part of her misses being innocent and uncorrupted.
Manipulative - Mallory gets what she wants one way or another. She has a power in persuading people to obey her and she does it with either her wits or her feminine allure. She’s deadliest when she combines the two. Her humor and poise make her secretive and alluring and lethal; she likes to describe herself like a snake which paralyzed the prey with her hypnotic eyes.
Vengeful - She neither forgets nor forgives nor let it rest in the past. Mallory is determined to exact her vengeance and wrath upon each and everyone of the people who ever laid a finger (or spiteful word) on her and her loved ones.
