dawn spent a lot of time crafting at camp. did it seem slightly childish? sure, but that didn’t stop her from spending copious amounts of time making friendship bracelets or painting canvases. this friendship bracelet in particular she was making for someone special. no one knew who it was for, but she just wanted to be able to secretly show her affection without drawing too much attention. —just a little way of showing that she cared. her fingers twirled the small pieces of twine together to form a nice bracelet. should she had his initial to it? no that would too obvious. “oh, hi! what do you think? cute?” she asked showing off her creation.

little harold isn’t alone this halloween for his official submission as he has collaborated with malnati’s pointiest friend, sir reginald, as a couples costume. the bee keeper and the bee. one might say they are a BUZZING competition.

               — ATTENTION CAMPERS & COUNSELORS —

we got further reports yesterday from a supposed ripper sighting, but we wanted to wait on reporting the news before we got confirmation !! after shayla’s horrible encounter with the ripper yesterday, @nicoletterogers​ decided to go searching through the woods for the ripper themselves. it was an attempted act of heroism, but unfortunately, after catching a glimpse of what she thought was the ripper, she ran straight into a tree and sustained injury from the event. please everyone give camp counselor nic some warm wishes on a speedy recovery of her black eye, and do not be too alarmed if you see her walking around with a few black && blues. she has assured us she will be just fine, and our medical services team is keeping in close contact with her !! the malnatis would, however, like to dissuade others from venturing off into the woods in search if the ripper, as it is incredibly dangerous and you may get hurt.

Adventures in Beckett’s questionable fashion sense: Halloween Masquerade edition

It shouldn’t have surprised him that he wasn’t able to sleep--it wasn’t like he’d been getting much of it before they left, either.  Instead of staring out the porthole in the cabin and risking waking someone else up if he fell asleep and had a nightmare, he climbed off his bunk, slipped his shoes on, and made his way up to the top deck.  It was the first cruise ship he’d ever been on, but he was quickly learning his way around and he wound up by the pool, stretching out on a lounge chair that faced off the side of the ship so he could look out at the moon’s reflection.  There was hardly a cloud in the sky and the water was relatively calm, all-in-all it was a beautiful night.  Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed someone walking toward him, and he assumed it was someone on their way to tell him that the pool was closed and he couldn’t be here, so he was already sitting up and preparing to stand.  “I guess you’re gonna tell me I should leave and go back to bed, huh?” he asked, his gaze still locked out on the ocean.

BRINLEE TAYLOR || Halloween Masquerade 

If there’s one part of Halloween that Brinlee truly loves it’s the dressing up, so imagine her excitement when she found out about the masquerade ball. For this year Brinlee had been thinking of a Persephone based costume anyway, so she let that inspire her gown for the evening. And for a girl who loves flowers so much, who better to be than the Greek goddess of springtime and flowers?

  bet you thought preston would stand up to the everyday black attire or not show up at all to this ball? well, you thought wrong. after finding this mask and falling in love with the idea of being not halloween’s, but christmas’ creepiest creature; the beloved Krampus. he seemed pulled in even further knowing no one will know it was him (not thinking about how tall he is that gives away his identity along with that mass of dark raven mess on his head) seemed to appease the boy into actually wearing a color; a deep red to tie in the boney mask with great horns. maybe the spirit of halloween can really get the best of everyone.
