— hello my friends !! i have missed all of you dearly and i hope that everyone’s taking care of themselves since the new year. we’ve been a bit bogged down personally over here at malnati headquarters but we’re looking forward to throwing ourselves back into this happy home this week !! there’re going to be some changes coming, which we think will be fun && fresh, and we’ll keep everyone updated as we state to announce things !! we’ll be back in full effect and ready with a whole lot of writing, character development, tasks, and events to get us back into the spirit and magic that is our group !! thank you all for being so wonderful, and patient, and truly being our family. 2020 would not have been possible for me, and i think nessa can say the same, without all of you incredible people and i just wanna share so much love with y’all right now !! here’s to celebrating our one year in a couple of months && everything that’s still to come for our crazy kiddos at the malnati hotel !!

as this holiday season is underway, the malnati management wants to spread some festive cheer with their annual hotel-wide secret santa gift exchange !! there is something extra fun about being able to surprise someone with a gift, no matter how big or how small, and the malnati’s are very excited to see everyone participate in such a fun tradition here at the hotel. for those who wish to be included, merely fill out the small form below and your name will be thrown into the hat to participate !! from there, your name will be passed onto someone else and you will be getting a lucky person for whom you get to be santa for !! on christmas day, you can choose to reveal yourself as someone’s secret santa or keep the mystery of it all alive !! get creative and have fun, santas !! and be sure to post your threads, self-paras, or moodboards for the gift giving using the tag #malnatiss so everyone can share in the magic of the season.

welcome to this year’s secret santa! the basic idea is that your muse will be putting their name in a cute little santa hat in order for someone else to pick it and they will be the one who gets you a gift and will be your ‘secret santa’. so put that thang down flip it and reverse it - and well, you’ve got the idea! we’re so excited to see what everyone comes up with for this season and all of the precious gift giving moments that are bound to occur!

MALNATI HOLIDAY MARKET

— it’s almost time for the malnati market place to open up to the malnati staff && guests !! give this post a like if you want the link to the holday market disco server for tonight’s event !! this isn’t a mandatory event, however, it’s gonna be a fun && cozy night !!

— we just announced a small && fun event, so we’d love to see some more faces around for it !! we’re a luxury hotel roleplay set in the city of chicago, and we’re always looking for more members.

          — ⛄ MALNATI’S HOLIDAY MARKET: an event !!

to kick off the holiday spirit at the hotel, the malnati’s have decided to put up their own holiday market !! with permission from the city, they’ve been able to block off a few streets that surround the hotel to allow vendors && food trucks to set up their spaces. at the tented flea market, visitors can shop handmade gifts like candles, stained glass art, and vintage pieces produced by local makers. visitors will also be able to get photos with santa && you’ll have a chance to craft in santa’s workshop. at the food trucks, they’ll have a variety of foods ranging from christmas cookies to mulled wine to freshly made latkes. in addition to all of that, the malnati’s have set up their own ice skating rink where you’ll be able to skate around as music plays. and if that wasn’t enough, you’ll be able to travel through their town of lights where you’ll be able to walk along a trail && watch some epic light displays. to show your holiday spirit, we’d love to see your best winter outfit, so post a picture of your outfit && you’ll have a chance to win 25 points !! this pop up event hosted by the malnati hotel is sure to be a good time, so come on out !!

THE HOLIDAY MARKET:

ah, the good ol’ holidays are here !! which means that the malnati’s are putting in all the stops to kick off the holiday season at the hotel. all of the staff && guests are invited to attend the malnati’s first holiday market, where they’ll be able to explore the streets && enjoy the day.

THINGS TO DO:

ice skating, face painting, flea market, craft making, light display, pictures with mr. && mrs. claus, christmas tree shopping, wine tasting, cake walks, snowman building, carnival rides, games, etc.

and with many of our events, we’ve got an outfit raffle going going !! on monday 12/24, our raffle will end and someone will be crowned best dressed at malnati’s holiday market && will receive 25 additional points !!

where: this event is going to be held on discord on sunday 12/13, but you can write starters pertaining to anything on the dash, too, if you’d like !! please post any open starters, text messages, snapchats, etc. in the starter tag ( malnatistarters ) !!

when: sunday, december 13th starting at 6 pm EST !!

discord event: this event will take place on a separate discord server that we will be sending out the link to starting at 5:30 pm EST for those who would like to join !! be sure to come dressed in the most festive fit to enter into our raffle for best dressed of malnati’s holiday market !! this is just mean to be a fun && cozy event, so we’d love to see you there.

ooc: you can do any event threads before or after the discord event – it’s totally up to you !! event threads can be continued to finish them up after the 13th, but no new threads should be started. as always, you can do non-event threads during the event if you would prefer to !! and you never have to participate in events or any au weeks that we do in the future ( not that this is an au but alksdjf ) if you would prefer not to !!
