She wasn’t sure how she’d found herself in this particular spot--a dive bar at least seven blocks away from the hotel, but she needed an out. An escape. After the magical week at sea, she was more sure than ever that something had switched deeply within her and she was craving more than just her everyday routine of wake up, running around for Mr. Worthington and going back to bed. She wanted to do something, be something different. Well, within reason. She was still Magnolia Barnes and that came with some sort of structure. She’d have to start slow, but a local bar outside the usual Malnati radius seemed like an ok place to start. Just...perhaps not in a long, purple, gala gown. Nevertheless, that was part of the charm--the whimsy, as Luis called it. As she neared the bar, her hair still in its intricut low bun and face full of make up, she smiled to the person sitting close to her. “Is this seat taken? And if not, would you mind if I took a seat?”
