Does your OC drink? She does. There’s a time where Nat’s reaching for any vice she can, and alcohol is one of the more accessible ones. There’s a crisis period that forces some unintentional sobriety. After that, she still drinks occasionally, but it’s more for social reasons and less for...sadness. As Nat puts it, they put “more alcohol in their alcohol” in the wasteland than she’s used to from before the war. So, she’s a bit of a lightweight.

Is your OC involved with anyone?

Yes m’aam! I’m currently working on a longfic called Bring the Gasoline for Nat and MacCready. It’s a strangers to friends to lovers sort of situation :) I post snippets here and there on WIP Wednesdays. My original plan was to rough draft all the way through and then start posting chapters, but I’m planning on starting to post chapters around September-ish regardless of if the rough draft is finished or not. I also tripped and fell into an OT3 with Nat, MacCready, and Deacon that unfolds after the events of main plot/Bring the Gasoline. I posted a one-shot that’s sort of a prelude to this relationship out on AO3 if you’re interested. It’s a fluffy hurt/comfort piece with some flirty foghorns overtones:

But anyway, Nat and Mac are ride or die by the end of Bring the Gasoline, and then they sort of just tug Deacon into the getaway car afterwards and drive off into a sunset filled with love and acceptance.

Well, do you want to know what she’d do when they both THINK that’s happening vs. way later when it ACTUALLY happens??? In the AU Joshua does go through SOME growth early on.... doesn’t really learn his lesson about his brutal methods but at the very least he learns to have a little empathy and that his motivations for fighting are selfish if they’re just based on revenge, which was something Lex was pissed at him about and is glad he’s expanded a bit from.

In the AU, Lex founds a Legion resistance group up north called the Latter Day Nephites and every now and then they pestered Josh like hey...... wanna help us. and he always said no (wouldn’t even give them an audience), which annoyed the HELL out of Lex because of the potential help he could’ve been. Jules McAllister goes through the events of Honest Hearts and encourages him to kill Salt-Upon-Wounds and then later the Legion takes Hoover Dam (o shit), and only THEN does he give the Nephites an audience now that shit has Gotten Serious and he’s also amped up in War Mode, and he goes with the Nephites to meet with other resistance groups to hear them out. The wind is completely knocked out of his sails when he finds all these people fighting for like.... their families and their cultures and their freedom... and here he is with like. petty revenge. Very rare for him to feel... small. But it forces perspective. Plus Lex gives him an Oh NOW You’re Here, Nice Timing Jackass speech LOL needless to say she’s very glad to hear him admit he (thinks he) understands the real stakes of the fight against the Legion now.

As for when he ACTUALLY learns his lesson???? That’s a complicated story that happens later on thanks to his son, Ezekiel Graham. But that’s a looong story. I really love Sins Of The Father (whoaaaaaa HOOOAAAAAAAA) type stuff lol
