After spending a bit of time in the bottle #Hakushu softens and becomes a world class pour. The peat has all but dissipated and this whisky has turned into something much more enjoyable with soft fruits, honey, and spice. Green apples and fresh cracked pepper on the tongue linger for quite some time. It's a simple medium body but acute attention is paid to every detail of this whisky. I'm glad I was in the mood for this one on #MaltMondayMadness.
