- who flashed gang signs while dropping me off at school... in a champagne colored VW Beetle - who asked me once if there were left handed bowling balls - who took me to the *N SYNC concert in junior high - who kicks ass and takes names... like a BAWSE.
You rock, Mama Jewski, and I hope you celebrate with your three best friends today. Happy 33rd* birthday!

Weekend Rewind
+ / Saw my gal, Sparkleface, in "Gypsy" with S & L.
- / There was NOT enough of my gal, Sparkleface, in "Gypsy."
+ / A sunny Mother's Day celebration with Mama Malone - complete with made up games in the backyard.
+ / AMAZING NEWS FROM S!!!!
+ / Dinner with baby Koen... and his parents.
+ / Late night grocery shopping - no crowds and stocked produce. BOOM.
- / I now hate the grocery store that is more convenient to my house.
+ / Mother's Day putt putt with Mama Jewski & Fam.
A busy weekend, yes, but absolutely delightful. Not opposed to the cool down that Seattle will be getting this week, as our house is a balmy 73 degrees on the inside.

It's Over
J is out of surgery - thank God.
The Doctor said she did AMAZING and everything went well. She has 1-2 hours of recovery before my mom and the hubs can see her, but then they will take her home & get her settled.
Upon her arrival, she will be greeted by a happy bunch of lilies that say:
"I love you!"
"You are strong!"
"You amaze me!"
"The best is yet to come!" (Among many other things.)
Thanks for allowing me to express my nerves and anxiety today, and for all of your well wishes. Looking forward to the day that I can introduce you to all of her healthy kiddos.
My sister is in pre-op with Mama Jewski, holding tight for the anesthesiologist. My mom says everyone is doing better than she expected. Ugh. I hate not being there. And I feel like I'm going to throw up.
