Since it seems that death vicabulary is a rather popular topic (please feel free to skip this post if this topic is in any way sensitive or triggering) let's have a look at this part of mama.'s 命日 (meinichi).

Vocab:

首吊り (kubitsuri) - hanging oneself

飛び降り (tobiori) - jumping off

失敗 (shippai) - failure

命日 (meinichi) - anniversary of someone's death

Lyrics:

首吊りも失敗です。(kubitsuri mo shippai desu.) 'hanging myself is a failure too.'

飛び降りも失敗です。(tobiori mo shippai desu.) 'even jumping is a failure.'

Translation note: the simplest and most direct way to translate these two sentences would be a 'A is B too' structure, but a more pretty way to put it could be 'Hanging myself filed too. Even jumping failed.'
