12. a movie that holds a special place in your heart
Truly any of the Disney Renaissance films. I remember when there was basically an amazing new Disney animated movie every year, and I was 4 when Little Mermaid came out so those incredible films absolutely are my childhood. They were my escape and safe place in a lot of ways and I used to go to Disneyland a lot as a kid too so those movies remind me of those trips too.
19 mainstream movies or indie movies?
I think I gravitate more to mainstream bc I don’t like films that are edgy for the sake of edginess. I definitely enjoy indie films that have great stories and characters but I don’t like watching movies FOR THE ART when they literally don’t make sense. It’s the same way I feel about a lot of modern art, I get that it’s a way for a creative person to express themselves but seriously if you make a pencil mark on a canvas you can’t expect that to resonate with people just because you call it art. Also I think Critics like to knock mainstream movies for being mainstream but I love when a film is so large and iconic that it crosses cultural/racial/socioeconomic barriers to become part of a collective experience. That’s a really special quality of films that I really enjoy experiencing. Also I definitely like big ‘splosions so there’s that.
21. done <3
Ohhh, your art would taste like cotton candy and marshmallows. But also like cinnamon and apples. Soooo yummy!
Thank you so much! :)
Ohgod Brea, your tags are ringing all sorts of warning bells. Please stay safe and be careful! *hugs and sends good thoughts*
Ugh I know. I’m being as safe as I can- at least one of my parents has been with us all day, especially when coming or going from my apartment. And I have the police on speed dial. I don’t think he’s actually going to *do* anything, he’s just desperate and wants to intimidate me before the hearing. He’s pissed bc control was a big part of our relationship and he’s realizing he has none over me now. Thankfully I have my absolute best lawyer ever and she is going to destroy him for this shit *applause*
Meanwhile I’m so grateful for my friends on tumblr, seriously you guys are helping me stay positive. Without you I would’ve spiraled into a little sobbing ball of anxiety right now <3
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR AUNTIE DEADCAT! *throws flowers at you* May your new year be brilliant and full of sunshine, with lots of love and success in all things work and health! *hugs you extra hard*

Your Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon picture is so gorgeous! That little smirk is precious, awwwwww!
Aww, thank you! I’m glad you like it. I had a lot of fun drawing it and playing with the program. I just figure that, after a while, whenever Obi-Wan gets to see his master roasted by the council, he learns to just sit back and enjoy the show. He’d bring popcorn, if he could.
