My issue with Head High this season (after episode 7) is no character aside from Renee is able in the same story as any of the other characters so we don’t have any idea about what is going on with them on the inside. Aside from hot blonde sex what is Mana getting from Frankie?  I genuinely don’t care and hate this story but maybe I might care a little if I had any idea what was in this serious bit of grossness from Mana and they’ve given me no reason to care about Frankie at all, NONE.   How has Mana met pop Grimsby and Tai who has been pretty much constantly with a Grimsby the whole time we’ve known him not?   What’s up with Aria’s diving?  Why did she manage less this year than she did last year when she took off significant time for death of boyfriend and pregnancy?  Does she care?   Did the cheerleading thing just stop being a thing (I think from a spoiler photo they maybe cheer at the finals.... but it hasn’t been mentioned in weeks)  Riley’s been living with other people for like a year now.  How does he feel about this?  NO idea.  He just goes along and does what Beatrix tells him and its fine. And Tai... aside from the Steven stuff which has been covered by pretty much everybody else... Jesse just fucked off his team without a word to Tai as far as I can tell.  Who has no feelings about that?  Tai.  Tai didn’t get feelings about it last week either.   Jesse’s got Mana a professional contract for the second year ina  row and if he’s done anything for Tai we haven’t heard about it.  Does Tai care?  He cared last year.   But this year?!?!?   Does Tai ever see Jesse off the pitch ever, I see no evidence of it but I have no idea.. but I don’t know.  When Vince is being an ass at least Lionel Wellington gets to look disapointed and when Vince isn’t being an ass (both times - I love Vince but I need him to show up for Tai at some point) Tai gets to look suspicious or confused.  But as for Jesse?  No idea what is going on with Tai.  None.   This show used to be a show about a family and the family members had relationships that allowed them to talk with each other about what was going on with them.  This season they are just people who live in the same house and sometimes pass each other in the kitchen.

5th episode was absolutely immaculate

This is what I'm waiting for:

Someone to catch Mana and that nasty-ass stepmom sleeping together (preferably Imogen or Mana's girlfriend). but I have a suspicious feeling that we won't see them get caught until next season or it'll be a cliffhanger.

for someone to catch Riley's mom drinking again (preferably Aria or Vince because it'll be too heartbreaking for Riley to find out). Can not BELIEVE she gave up her sobriety for a MAN. A man that's for one, just using her to get to her son. And for her to say, "So you can buy me a mansion", shows that she's only worried about herself and could give two shits about Riley. (and then LYING to Jesse about it like WOMEN WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU????) I literally can't WAIT until she's caught.

Vince might not be the best husband ever, but if Renee would communicate to him how she's feeling and what she wants him to improve on, then half of this crap wouldn't be happening. I cannot legit WAIT until he finds out that she was having an "affair" (I put that in quotations cause they only really kissed, but she still cheated!) with Cruz. (also, why would you tell that crazy woman? Now she's going to blab to Jesse and he can hang it over Vince's head). Anyways, can't wait until her kids find out too. (Like I just have this pure hatred towards her after that whole debacle).

JW is going to pin himself to look like the good guy when Imogen confronts him in the men's bathroom, and honestly, he was manipulating, but Imogen should've been smarter than that. Lying about the whole affair so that he could come back is NASTY. I have a love/hate relationship with her. Like some days I love her, and other days I can't stand her.

I want Nico to cuss his dad out on the field. I would also love it if he just shouted to the entire crowd that he's gay, which I have a feeling that something similar will happen after he hears his dad using the f-slur on him. While I honestly like his relationship with Steven, I'm still team Tai, and I'm waiting for something to go down between them. ( I feel like if we do see something happen between them that it'll be the very last episode).

I also want to see Riley's relationship with Beatrice grow more. I actually want to see them start dating, and possibly even a kiss.

I HAVE A FEELING THAT SCOTTY AND ARIA ARE GOING TO GET CLOSER AND RIGHT NOW I DON'T HATE THE IDEA BUT CHECK BACK WITH ME LATER.

Last season was only 8 episodes, so I'm guessing it's the same for this season, which means we only have 3 episodes left, so I need the ball to start rolling, and quick.
