I'm rereading Fruits Basket and I love the relationship between Kakeru and Yuki. It's kinda funny that his best friend is a mix of Kyo and Ayame, the two people he can't stand the most 😂😂😂

While he was at high school, canonically, he:

was vice president of the student council

maintained STELLAR grades to continue to remain part of said council

had a girlfriend (who goes to a different school so like they needed to make an actual EFFORT to see one another)

AND worked a part-time job

and the guy STILL had enough time in his day to goof off and do gay shit with Yuki and give his best friend his queer awakening!!!!

Like??? Tohru I love you but this is the real straight-up-magic impossible achievement borne of will and love right here. This guy should have been dead on his feet 24/7 and yet he just kept chuggin, huh. How did he do that????
