Lacking a strong a-story, this one is more a collection of b-stories than anything else. All provide laughs. Particularly enjoyed seeing George being amorous towards Mildred after brewing his own beer. Some lovely moments for Yootha Joyce. 7/10

Delightful. Many big laughs in this one. Most generated by the simple idea of George wearing a new toupee. No two reactions are the same and it’s all priceless. Great chemistry between Paula Wilcox and Richard O'Sullivan when car trouble leaves Chrissy and Robin stranded in the middle of nowhere. 9/10

This one took a long time to get going, but by the end, when Chrissy took over for Robin in the poker game, it was very funny indeed. The core cast have amazing chemistry. Watching them on screen together is a real delight. They genuinely look like three best friends. 8/10

Strongest story they’ve had in a while as George plots to kick the three tenants out without Mildred finding out. First appearance of Roy Kinnear as Jerry, a terrific character. My 200th TV episode of 2024. Averaging 1h17m of TV per day. 9/10
