Okay, so today is the inception of “Devi Sarranavaratrulu” (Dussehra), one of my favourite festivals. Aasweeja Shuddha Padyami (the first day of Navaratri) continues that festive and spiritual feels (initiated by Vinayaka Chavithi (Ganesh Chaturthi) in Bhadrapadam) which last till the end of Kartheekam (November).
It’s a double celebration for Telugu people (of course for all fellow South Indian people) because Navaratri is not just about worshipping Goddess Durga. It also marks the start of Brahmotsavams in Tirumala.
I wish and pray that may the omnipresent help everyone overcome the difficulties of their life and fill their lives with all prosperity and good health.
