Absolutely! 

The worst part of this is that I’ve been doing it since tfa came out. There was this guy at my university’s Star Wars club who said that he hated Finn and couldn’t wait for him to die and I haven’t gone back since. There was a guy in one of my English classes last semester who I thought was cool until he said he didn’t like Finn and I stopped talking to him as well.

I'm an open ear if you want to ask about amazigh traditions but yeah like putting a wedding tkchita and wedding facial markings on an Indian women is equal to the Natalia port man mess in the prequels. A character who can be drawn as such is shmi who is a character who should've been Tunisian (and also black im not tryinh to discount that) considering that tatooine took a lot from Tunisia but only for alien ~aesthetic going so far as to dress the jawas in djellabas ....(Tunisians and Moroccans are both an amazigh people who are very similar in culture) Like headcanoning characters as mixed is ....usually fine but like idk it feels ooky here because while there are Indian n Nepalese amazigh people I bet its just such a stretch when like ....there are.....characters born and raised in Tatooine . I get that your south Asian but idk like it just makes me uncomfortable

Han calls Finn 'kid' in the movie, doesn't he?

idk man i don’t really remember like i know Han calls Finn big deal at some point but i could see Han having possibly called Finn kid (i mean like he calls Luke ‘kid’ in the ot and Luke’s only 10 years younger so like it’s definitely plausible that he would have maybe called Finn that but again i really don’t remember if he did or not)

I don’t disagree, it’s absolutely true, but it’s underhanded and deceptive to go cherry picking the lightest images. Resorting to white-washing to make a point about light-washing is never a good look imo
