Shmi Skywalker x OC

Isatian, a rich trader on a one-woman mission to do her best to combat slavery by spending her fortune routinely buying slaves, freeing them, and finding them employment on other planets, passes through Tatooine. Isatian frees Shmi and employs her as her companion and assistant. Shmi travels through the galaxy with Isatian, they fall in love, work together against slavery, get married (Anakin and Padme sneak off together to attend and there’s a lot of happy reunion tears), and they never encounter any Tusken Raiders.

Jess bought a necklace from a market thinking of Karé one day and had it in her closet for weeks until one day she just throws it at Karé in her nervousness and says “Ithoughtyoudlikeitdoyouhateitimsorry” and Karé stops for a moment to examine it and smiles and pulls Jess into a hug and she gets a little teary eyed and Jess is shook bc she didn’t expect this to go so well
