Not too bad for an evening's work. Got this assembled from a layer of duck cloth and a layer of felt that's old enough to drive for structure, and it'll have one more layer of cotton lining inside that gets sewn down to hold magnets eventually. It closes with Velcro on the right, and once I get/find my separating zipper that's going in also. Now to toss it on my dress form to pattern out the shoulders so I can hem the arms and take in the slight flaring there, and decide on an integrated or separate neck seal. Also, thanks, past me, for keeping these boots I never wear, so now I have boots to cannibalize and mount armor on!
