Few more from my last visit to this hidden gem. I am still wondering how ignorant I was towards hidden gems close to my place while I was busy planning and exploring the world. A trip to Mandaragiri Hill became a memorable one. I was fully locked up in the house due to the pandemic and for my leg injury. The only exception when I stepped out of the house is to see my doctor. When we planned for this impromptu day trip, I was too excited to consider that there are 435 steps that we need to hike to reach the hilltop. It would have been an easy hike of 15-20 mins in a normal situation. But it is not a normal situation. If staying at home for so many months is not enough to make me unfit, I was still not fully recovered and limping a bit. It took me a good 40 minutes to reach the top with multiple breaks to rest my leg. But the view from the top was worth the effort. And I didn't mind taking breaking as the view of the Pinchi temple while climbing up was equally breathtaking. Isn't it these stupidities make travel memorable?
