Women in Mahabharata - Bindumati
Bindumati (or Chitrarathi) is the daughter of the Yadava samrata Shashabindu, who was primarily responsible for nearly wiping out Puru's lineage. She was married to another enemy of the Pauravas, the famous king Mandhata of Ayodhya.
Unfortunately, this alliance didn't last for more than a few generations, as soon after Mandhata's death, the renewed Yadava-Haihaya alliance managed to dethrone one of his descendants, Bahu, despite him having a Yadava princess for his wife. His son Sagara has to re-ascend via a lot of bloodshed, and only around the time that Paurava Dushyanta too begins a similar assault on another front.
She was the older sister of many brothers, and apparently unhappy with that. Her sons are Purutsa and Muchukunda.
