Dorothea and Ingrid not having an a support makes ZERO sense. In fact, Ingrid has ZERO endings with women. Its like?????? Wtf game. I shipped her hard with Mercedes so I was super sad.

Exactly! I think her having an A support with a girl would have been a sign for growth for her. I haven’t played Blue Lions yet but I think Ingrid...really, all of the childhood friendship quartet, would benefit from relationships with more emotionally open students.

Her supports with Mercedes were really sweet. That there’s no A support is even MORE confounding than her not having an A support with Dorothea.

I think what’s most upsetting is like…. all her supports with the other characters are REALLY good. Like she’s more than just her admiration of Jeralt???? And she’s really nice and cool??

I know! She just said Marianne’s laugh was cute! She had a nuanced discussion about faith with Claude! She’s making charms with Hilda! I can even guess reasons for her looking up to Jeralt and how that might lead to frustration with Byleth (”Are you really Jeralt’s kid?”/”So I’ve been told” ....Can you like....just say yes maybe? What is that supposed to mean?)

I guess as a b*oware fan I should know by now that when a woman and/or nonwhite character does something that could hurt the poor MC’s feelings, they are The Worst Forever.

No. It’s implied in Claude’s support with flayn that he’s figured it out, but VW doesn’t have any character actually stating as such

Yeah I got to their A support and Claude definitely has an inkling. 

But is there any scenario, across the board, all 4 routes, in which either of them state their true identity to the player character?

Again I realize my perspective is a little limited here but I’m annoyed people just drag Leonie through the mud for idolizing Jeralt/being envious of Byleth, when it makes sense given her background and just like. Take a second to try and understand her instead of being like ooh poor Byleth/self insert she hurt their feelings therefore MY feelings, which are the only feelings that matter.

And then you have Ferdinand who really wants to prove he’s better than Edelguard like I get it dude you feel emasculated move on. I don’t see people criticizing him for that but then again I don’t look for it and maybe fandom’s too busy making fun of how he....says his name a lot?
