Okay I have no more opinions only facts:

Jason and lorelais relationship made absolutely no sense and was based solely on spite towards their parents idk how they lasted as long as they did also he’s annoying

Tj is one of the funniest characters on the show but I don’t love liz...I don’t hate her either but I don’t like that Luke is so clearly uncomfortable around her friends and Liz does nothing abt it lmao

Anna nardini can bite me

I actually have so much to say abt Anna nardini but the tldr is that her character was shoehorned in at the last minute and they gave her absolutely ZERO thought just made her a shitty version of lorelai and I hate it

I wish Rachel was in more episodes and I think she and lorelai shoulda dated

Michel and Tobin also shoulda dated it’s too bad asp is afraid of gay people

Despite not liking Jess in early seasons I think his and Luke’s relationship development is one of the best aspects of the show and it’s so well done and realistic and loving I truly love it

Rory cheating with dean and later with Logan makes absolutely NO sense I don’t know what hit asp on the head when she wrote those arcs but literally everything else about rorys character points to her running screaming in the other direction at the idea of being someone’s mistress (hello??? How she reacted to Paris cheating with Asher??? She never would have done something like that) and the revival sucks but the cheating storyline is truly the worst part about it

Ik Taylor vs Luke always means to show Luke in the right and Taylor as being like crazy but tbh Taylor is right about most stuff including the town needing to make progress

Jackson not telling sookie abt not getting a vasectomy is actually the grossest storyline in the whole show and the fact that she forgave him for getting her pregnant is baffling to me I hate that storyline so much because I love them both and I love them together but that’s so violating that he didn’t tell her I would have been furious in her shoes

I’ve talked abt this before but lorelai was absolutely right to cut Emily and Richard out of her life and I hate that the fandom paints her as petty

These are all very negative so let me end positively: adding lane’s band as semi regular characters towards the last few seasons was such a good call I love zach and Brian and Gil they’re such a fun ensemble and individuals

Also rorys season three hair was her best hair

omg thank you 🥺 first off basically all of invisible string (which @lorelaigilmo made a perfect gifset of here) and the whole concept of "isn't it just so pretty to think all along there was some invisible string tying you to me?"

also they're king and queen of terrible communication so in that way I'd say a lot of exile - "you never gave a warning sign / I gave so many signs" "I never learned to read your mind / I couldn't turn things around" and the lines about the other man applying to christopher
