The maned rat is a real shocker! Though it looks like they've been zapped, their electrifying hairdo is actually meant to resemble a porcupine. If that's not enough they have another trick up their sleeves: maned rats are the only rodent known to be poisonous! Maned rats will rub themselves against poison arrow trees to accumulate toxins, which makes a very poor treat for would-be predators.

This is a maned rat. Native to East Africa, it is mostly herbivorous and belongs to the same family as rats and mice. It is notable for several reasons:

Its unique colouration

Its defence mechanism involves chewing on the bark of the poison arrow tree to extract the poison and smearing it on special absorbent hairs, which makes it toxic to predators

It has a four chambered stomach reminiscent of a cow's.

A large, slow-moving rodent would make a substantial meal for many predators. However, there are strong indicators that Lophiomys are not easy prey. When threatened, the long, gray-tipped hairs that normally cover their body are flared out, erecting a crest along the back and exposing boldly-patterned black and white tracts of shorter hair along the flanks. Such an eye-catching threat display would appear to be a warning to predators of a potent defense mechanism, but what this defense is has not been clearly understood until recently.

The crested rat actively transfers poison onto its fur in the form of cardiac glycosides. The rodents chew on the bark and leaves of the highly toxic poison arrow tree (Acokanthera schimperi) before transferring a mixture of toxins and saliva specifically to the lateral lines of fur on their flanks. The poison extracted from this particular plant is the same that was used by people in East Africa on their arrows when hunting elephants or other large animals. It is fast-acting and causes paralysis and rapid contractions of the cardiac muscle that can be deadly.

Fink’s redesign is based on the Maned rat. A poisonous rat? Fits her. She is still spoiled and close to Venomous.

She still sees him as a father figure. Fink knows about Venomous falling for Boxman and she doesn't like it. Also she knows about Shadowy Figure but was threatened to keep silent about it. 

She does have a turbo form. I think that is power from her need to feel love or at least known by her boss, Venomous. Fink still plays video games.
