Big thanks to everybody who signal boosted my post about that flea market doll, big shout out especially to @buttercuppuppy and @mangmangbeetles, you both gave me a lot of really great info!!

Turns out she is almost definitely a Sukiyo doll, made by the Bradley company, and she... must not have been very popular with US collectors?

 At least, I’m having some real trouble finding much any sales for her (1 listing on Etsy for a doll of the same company (?) but a different style, a handful on eBay that are split into half the same mold but wrong doll, half the same brand but wrong style lol).

 It’s hard to tell what a good price for her is... one person on eBay has the same type/style of doll listed with $15 sb or $25 ab, but another has her in original packaging (for the most part), and is asking $174.58 for her. She looks to be bigger and fancier, more of a collector than the one I posted, but it might just be my imagination... 

Well, I’ll keep an eye out for the gal I posted (and hopefully I will find her for the same price I found her at the flea market - $20), and I’ll keep you updated!

EDIT: SCRATCH A LOT OF THAT! I went back on eBay and used some different phrasing, I found a lot more listings! I might even be able to find my dream gal...

i don’t know what the fuck kind of fucked up math i was doing this morning, but yeah wow, i painfully underestimated the price.

Yeah, they should know they’re potentially losing sales over this. On the Granado end, I was really looking forward to this doll before all the mess. And I hate to say it, but now every time I see anything about Granado, it just makes me feel anxious and unhappy, and that’s really not fair to them.

Ugh. I’m so sorry to hear you had to deal with all that as well. I’m not sure if it’s better or worse to know my situation isn’t an anomaly for them. I’m glad they finally got back to you -- judging from my situation as well, it does seem like you have to get more forceful to get them to take anything seriously. And yeah, that’s been part of the issue for me -- a Granado doll is worth the price tag, but it’s a lot of money to have invested when you’re not sure what’s going on.

Two days and I’ve still got no reply. The package is already inbound into customs, so I’ve got very little time to decide if I’m going to take the risk and try to refuse the package. I’m still not sure if it will even be possible, since the local post office tends to be disorganized. And I still don’t know if they’re actually going to give me the full refund if I do refuse the doll, or if they’re going to try to claim that 15% “restocking fee.”

I feel like they’re stalling and refusing to give me an answer until it’s too late. I sent them another message, but now it’s the weekend, so I won’t get a reply ‘til Monday.

My guy is in Tan if that helps you out ^^ And most of his promotional pictures are Tan. Though my Enoch and VIP head are in sunshine and it's absolutely beautiful color!

It’s a great sculpt! <3 I put my order in for him the moment they first opened orders for him. The Saturn S face-up is probably among my favorites ever.
