#its like a scary 'what if' for me even when rationally i know it won't happen but its helpful to have reassurance

i have to get an MRI in like october and i've been freaking out a little because the Internet says it should be fine that i have a permanent metal retainer glued to my teeth, and i'm obviously gonna ask before i get in there but like. what if they're wrong and there go my teeth? :(
