Social Media threat prompts cancellation of classes at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, CA
A threat posted on the anonymous social media app Yik Yak, has forced school officials and administrators from Mira Costa High School, in Manhattan Beach to cancel classes on Tuesday November 18th. The message, which was vague stated, “If you go to Costa you should watch out very closely at school today.” On Monday, the school was put on lock down since similar online threats emerged in Pleasant, Hill Iowa and at Drake University, where a student was arrested.
