I got a great offer in Boston last Monday and it'd be foolish to pass it up honestly. They're paying me thrice the current salary, giving me grants to do more research work... It's just.. I haven't been out of London for more than three weeks and.. I'll miss home.

Think less art and more people dressed up weirdly throwing paintballs at each other until it covers a canvas, then calling it art, and you'll have the entire experience at that museum. No actual art, in my opinion, just a bunch of badly done pieces by high schoolers.

Getting back home in one piece is certainly more difficult when most methods of transport have been closed for various storms. Pity. I ended up having to travel on foot.

It amuses me to see everyone skirting about the streets complaining about the cold. You'd all be whining tenfold if you were in Russia right now. Just zipper up your oversized coats and put your gloves on, it'll be summer soon enough and then you lot will be complaining about the heat instead.

Aka, apparently how to make a killing by rewriting an old literature piece. I can't believe how many times I've seen that rewrite of pride and prejudice around and on top buyers shelves just because they added zombies. Maybe it's 'cause of things like the walking dead.
