Think less art and more people dressed up weirdly throwing paintballs at each other until it covers a canvas, then calling it art, and you'll have the entire experience at that museum. No actual art, in my opinion, just a bunch of badly done pieces by high schoolers.

His mind was itching at him now. But—it wasn’t itching over the images of something lost. It was itching over the idea of something gained. And in the back of his mind, he could hear it—the replay of a memory that wasn’t too long ago. His own body curled up in a corner as he held his head rocking forward and back only for Toby to walk in, eyes concerned and body rushing to his side.
It’s going to be okay, Emrys. You’re here. You’re safe.
Safe. Toby was right——Emrys was safe there in London as long as those who loved him were around. And it took him so long to realize that running away was only ever going to get him hurt. “Well… Perhaps we know one another, you never know. What’s your name?” London was a small world——he knew people due to others he was close to—it was hard to move around without knowing someone.
"…Do you want to get something to eat to try and keep distracted? I would say we could go to The Sapphire, but it’s still being worked on, I think. Besides, there are loads of places to go to, my Father would take me to this one place when I had my episodes." Much like a Father would take a child to get ice cream after a bad day. Toby really was the closest thing he would ever get to having a Father again.
"Emrys Doyle-Hawkins. It’s nice to meet you."
Hearing him talk about his father does visibly upset her; shoulders lowering, lip turning downwards and eyes glancing away. She honestly wonders how anyone could have a good relationship with their father, even though hers wasn't at all bad until she was sent away. Her arms cross and hold onto each other as she tries to force the thoughts away, focusing instead on the male's words.
"Emrys.." That she's sure she heard before. His earlier mention of The Sapphire only added to the belief. Maybe he went there before the blackout hit? There's plenty of possibilities, she just isn't too sure she cares enough to think them over.
".. I know it's closed, I work there.. Margaery Colt.. pleasure." She shrugs her shoulders as she stretches a bit. Eating doesn't actually sound all that bad, as long as she doesn't have to pay. If she was left with the bill, Xander might end up finding his check greatly lessened, and she's fairly sure she's still in trouble for last time.
Then again, she probably shouldn't be going out with someone she just met. Xander might get pissy at her for it just because it could increase the tab levels she puts under his name. Maybe that's why she's planning on agreeing to it at all.
"...Alright."

Is this what he looked like when he had a panic attack? He could only wonder how lucky he was that the few people he did know were the ones that found him in those situations. It was scary to watch, but it was scarier to experience it.
Emrys just stiffened a bit when she looked at him. Honestly, as much as he was aware of what she was going through—Emrys still had very little experience with helping others. He was only good at it with a few people—and that was because he knew them well enough to offer some kind of comfort. “…My name is Emrys. And…I know what it’s like—having so many things in your head scream and talk and play out at the same time…”
Noises no one else heard. Visions that only his eyes saw—it wasn’t something he wished on other people. Not even his enemies. “They never listen when you yell but they do go away temporarily. You—You just need to calm down first, is all. If you calm down, then you can focus on making them go away.”
If you ignore them, they will go away. Monsters only come out to bother those that believe in them. "…Humming a song or singing helps me sometimes… Not al the time—but sometimes.."
Focus on something else, that's certainly not difficult now. It might not be making them shut up, but she's certainly not as focused on them now. She isn't sure if she can recall another who had this problem; the voices, visions, even the occasional blackouts.She's not sure which he's had, maybe even all of them, but it is certainly distracting.
Emrys. She's sure she's heard that somewhere. She's not exactly sure where she heard it before; perhaps at the sapphire at some point? seems most likely. Must not have been important enough to her at the time for her to forget so quickly. Then again, generally she doesn't care enough if it isn't about her, or tormenting her brother.
".. I think I'm calm now, actually." Not really, she's just far too curious about this for her to ignore it. She knows voices aren't uncommon, neither are the visions, surely. But someone who's willing to admit to them, let alone help someone else with them? That's definitely not something she's seen before. Even when she was committed, nobody in the 'hospital' actually tried to help her. All they did was continuously take from her and hurt her if she didn't comply.
They might still be speaking, but she's not listening now. Instead, she's walking over to the other, eyes checking him over, as if she's trying to decipher if this is some sort of joke or not. If it were, chances are she wouldn't be able to hold back letting them take control. It takes a bit for Margaery to realise she hasn't actually been breathing since she started staring, thus letting herself take a deep, calming breath. Her lungs felt like they were on fire, but she certainly couldn't seem to focus on the fact right now. "Emrys, I've heard that before.. have we met?"

The part Emrys liked the most about seeing Aria and Tobias was knowing that the whole trip would be safe. Safety wasn’t all about whether or not he was alive or not, but it also mattered if his head was in the right place. There were moments where he wondered if his head was even on his shoulders, but he was sure that he would be fine for now. Things weren’t so bad now that he was able to say he had a family to turn to.
His peace and quiet was interrupted—and it was by something oddly familiar. Usually it was him screaming for things to stop—for the memories to go away and to stop playing before his eyes. But now—it was someone else that was suffering. Other people could stare and find it amusing, or even just pity the situation, but Emrys’ stomach twisted in ways that made him wonder if he could hold his lunch in.
There was hardly anyone around—so it was safe to assume that she was talking to her mind now. And if he added to the noise, he would only make it worse. What was better—being louder or more quiet?
"They won’t stop unless you calm down…" Emrys said it softly, trying his best to stay at a safe distance away from her. Enough so she knew she wasn’t alone—and far enough that she wouldn’t feel threatened by him. Given her height versus his own, it was easy to feel threatened by someone that could hover over her. "They’re rather stubborn—but if you just calm down, they won’t make noise. Just try and focus on breathing first, all right? You can even cover your ears if you’d like…"
It wouldn’t work, but it would help the feeling of having some kind of power over the situation.
She nearly freezes at the voice.
More yelling, that she's used to. Maybe the kinds words from Xander when he tries to calm her down, or his ways of telling everyone in her head to stop attacking her. This voice isn't Xander's. She doesn't actually know who it belongs to. There isn't an essence of familiarity to the pitch, but the words he says makes her think he knows what's going on.
She starts taking deep breathes-- not because she's listening to him, not because she's trying to calm down, but to try and maintain enough control so she can figure out what's happening. Had the voices taken a new turn and made it so she was thinking up some form of a saviour as well? Had they become visions once again so they could make her feel as if she were insane? Too many questions started to ring through her mind, so she needed to be rid of them. Eyes closed, she breathes, trying to cut them away, trying to relax, access, control.
It doesn't exactly work, but she's to a point she can try to ignore them now. Eyes open as she glances up, taking in the sight of the other. Tall, definitely. Strange hair, and definitely a defined structure-- especially the chin. Fairly lanky in form.
She swallows, attempting to form the ability to speak again in a proper, formulated sentence. She could try to thank him for bothering to care; most people would just laugh or try to print her as mad. She could ask if he experienced them too, find reasons as to why he'd have a sort of solution to her issues. Instead, she starts having more issues ignoring what they're telling her, and that just causes her to blurt out a question instead.
"---Who the hell are you? Why.. are you concerned?"
I don’t want to look like a crazy! If I wear one of those, I am going to look like those old white ladies wearing ebola suits in a plane.
... Set up explosives before you get out so when it starts again and you're not there, it pops?

Really, there's always the reigning question; is there too much to do, or too little to do. On one hand, she could easily pick the locks on those park timing machines and steal the change in them, on the other, most places that still have those all have cameras over them. She doesn't exactly feel like hacking into anyone's cameras. She could set fire to some building just to get some form of feeling, or she cut the cables for the heat in all of them and snicker while others started to freeze. None of the ideas she was getting really seemed good enough to her. In fact, most of it just seemed childish.
What she really wanted was to hurt someone. It's not like she could feel pain herself, but watching others experience it has always been a form of amusement to her. Maybe that's why she's been so detached from Xander recently; in some strange way, watching him fret and worry caused her joy. She knows it's not good, it's not kind in any form of the word, but she also doesn't care.
But, she promised him she'd try to stay out of trouble. Since the incident with her getting shot, she'd gotten only more annoyed at the days gone by. She doesn't like not having much to do. That's usually when she finds herself in a bar, adding plenty of rounds to a tab in Xander's name. Generally, she tries to avoid paying attention to anyone, but she also can't help but keep a glance about, mostly to start judging as many people as possible. It also keeps her from really noticing anyone who sits near her, considering her attention is kept towards others.
"Keep 'em coming. If nothing else, I at least want Xander to know I'm not gonna sit around at home all day."
And make him have to pay a pretty penny for her habits. She really hasn't even drunken most of the drinks, except for a sip here and there. A glance to her side lets her see someone, someone she's sure she's met before. Although she's choosing to keep the thought to herself, she's also trying to remember just exactly where. At least it's something to pass the time.

Shut up, shut up, shut up!
She keeps repeating the mantra in her head. She swears everyone is just trying to mess with her. There might not be that many people out and about now, but she's sure they're talking, whispering things to make her think she's gone mad.
The worst part of her decaying mental state is how she can't tell the difference between the voices around her, and the voices in her head. She kept them hidden while at work, she hasn't exactly told her brother about them, or anyone else, really. She's sure if they knew it'd just be used against her in some form. Her old teachers had no problem using her mind as a way to send her to the hospital, and her father had used it as an excuse to start ignoring her in favor of her other siblings. While the last part might not be entirely true, it's how she sees it.
She's not even sure who she's talking to, she doesn't take notice to the fact someone's actually there. Trying to make herself believe whoever's talking is only talking in her head. She wants to believe it, because then she might be able to control it. That's what she's always wanted, after all. Complete and total control over herself. Unfortunately, that's not exactly probable for her, and unfortunately, the voice isn't actually in her head. But, she's already spoken before she takes notice of that fact.
"Would you just-- stop! Shut up, shut up, shut up! Stop talking, stop yelling, stop everything, it is increasingly distracting, just-- stop!"
Hm.
Sounds like a good idea, but I’m not sure. I wouldn’t want my clothes to be all stained.

The weather might actually be one of the few things I like about this place. More likely to snow than New York was. One of the perks of winter was the snowstorms. Having more of them here might be.. pleasant.
I can’t speak for everyone else but I don’t think it’s so bad here. Have you been travelling?
More like getting certain things taken care of. Maybe this place is finally getting its shit together. Though, that might be too much to ask for.

Getting in really wasn't the problem, nor was shooting the gun. Getting in only required a small deletion of her history via a certain, fairly decent hacker, a fake ID and paperwork to match should any questions be asked, and a bunch of papers and questions she had to force herself to pretend to care about. Of course, the owners of the range had to ask those questions, teach her how to properly wield the gun and show her the best positions to shoot in. What they taught was all truly useful to her, really, she just didn't have the patience to care enough. She did try and fake it, though, if only to speed things along.
She's been here a few times now, and has grown all too used to the proper care required in everything. After shooting her rounds and checking her target, she locks her gun and rests it on the bench so the barrel can cool. she finds it unlikely that it's warm enough to cause any sort of fire, but if she doesn't let it cool and her brother were to find out, she'd be in quite a bit of a situation there. A few minutes, she'd just have to wait a few minutes, then she can wipe it down and pack up her things. Really, that's all she's looking forward to, not really so much any form of conversation.
