Although Ward never directly "Imagineered" for Disneyland, his "Man in Space" series of episodes for television (pictured) coincided with and informed the development of Tomorrowland the place. Ward later served as an Imagineer on Epcot's World of Motion. He was inducted as a Disney Legend in 1989.
