howl loved having calcifer as a roommate, the two had been friends for so long it was just easy for them to live together without question. ever since cal had been seeing emmett he had been in a better mood then normal. he was mostly in a good mood but howl noticed a pep in his step and how he just seemed genuinely more happy and it was something howl was glad. cal truly deserved the happiness emmett brought to his life. but what really made him notice was one day the two were making breakfast and the tap on howl’s nose making him laugh and smile at the action. “you are extra cheery today hm?” he points out with a small smile playfully with the other before shaking his head a bit. “weirdo.” he teased.

after his bidder won howl went right into planning the perfect date for him and jaskier. making a reservation at the most fancy restaurant he could and even sending over several outfit options for jaskier to pick out so they could nearly match in style. and just as promised at seven o’clock sharp howl was at the other’s home for pick up. a bouquet of flowers in hand freshly put together from blush bloom, already in a vase for convivence. once the door was opened he smiled wide. “well you look absolutely stunning.” he said holding out the flowers. “these are for you, and i sure hope that you are ready for a divine night. i have planned much for us to do to enjoy one another’s company.” he smiled. “the firtst stop is dinner i hope you’ve brought an appetite.” as he gently whisks the other off to the car escorting them into the passenger seat.  // @regvined​

howl was rather impressed with how the party was put together, from the bar to the dance floor, all of the decorations were amazing and incredibly fitting for the holiday. once calcifer and his date broke off from howl he went about on his own heading over to the bar to order himself a drink. he was admiring all the costumes he saw, devils, princesses, slashers from horror movies he was invigorating. everyone was dressed for the occasion and it looked like a scene right out of a movie. once he was served his drink he looks to his side seeing someone doing just as he was. “that’s a great greaser get up.” he compliments their costume. “you look just like the ones in the movies.” howl smiled before sipping his drink. // @rosysoulx​
