The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor should have paid more money to keep Rachel Weisz as Evie, and they should have genderswapped Alex to be played by Katie McGrath. 

Could you fucking imagine? Brilliant mother, brilliant daughter, equally clumsy with identical thirsts for adventure, working side by side to save the world while Rick O’Connell tagged along to make sure they didn’t get into too much trouble... Literally nothing else would have to change and it’d be 100x better than what we got (though improving the script might have made it easier to keep Rachel Weisz).

Rachel and Katie look enough alike to sell the mother-daughter relationship and they’re both so adorkable it must run in the family. You can pry this fancast out of my cold dead fingers.
