Hiya folks, it's been a spell, hasn't it? I finally dipped into some real TEA tea today. @ketlee.in Wild Litsea Black Tea. This lovely black tea hails from the eastern Indian state of Manipur, which is known for having semi-feral assamica forests and gardens - some old growth. . This black tea was made from old growth leaf material, paired with litsea fruit (to pick up the citrus scent), then separated. A process similar to the way Chinese tea manufacturers make jasmine green tea. The result is ... yummy. 😋 . Very sophisticated description, I know. It starts off earthy, then careens wildly into lemon verbena territory, before coming full stop in a palatial equivalent to an herb garden. 🌿 .
