21. Any routines one has that the other had to get used to (ex. morning, nighttime, sleeping habits)?

For Manjo and Boom-El? I feel like Kojo would have extensive skincare routines and Mannys just waiting in bed for him forever-

For Manjo:

- HELL YEAH HE HAS AN EXTENSIVE SKIN CARE ROUTINE. Also, if he puts his bonnet on before bed, THAT MEANS HE INTENDS TO GO TO SLEEP. NO SEX, NO NOTHING. THE BONNET EQUALS NO BONING.

- He is, however, super active at night so sometimes he'll randomly wake up and just has the cat urge to knock shit over. He won't break it but, like, Manny just yelling from the bed room: "KOJOOOO, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT???" and he's all: "IT DIDN'T BREAK."

- Manny is going to have to get used to cuddling. Kojo absolutely adores cuddling in his sleep (don't ever tell him that to his face, he won't admit it). BUT THE BIGGEST CHANGE FOR MANNY WOULD BE HIS FUCKING JAGUARS IN THE BED. He has four them and while I can imagine she LOVES cuddling with them now, sleeping with four jaguars who will sometimes nibble you in their sleep was a huge adjustment.

For Boom-El:

- Eloise feels like an early riser to me but Boomer 100% sleeps in and is always late to things. So Eloise let's him sleep and he just sleepily stays in bed and watches her get ready. HOWEVER, if its a work thing for the Daily Planet, her trying to wake him up and being all: "If you don't get up, you don't get kisses for the entire day~" and Boomer JUMPS out of bed.

- Her entire schedule is perfectly organized and it does kind of change how Boomer works but in a good way. He likes joining her on early morning jogs, he has a lot more time to not forget things, and overall has some order and structure to his life now. Which he surprisingly likes!

- On Eloise's part, I can imagine she's accustomed to staying up late now that Boomer is a hero and she doesn't like to fall asleep when he isn't back. So he flies in and he feels so bad but she's all: "Nah, its fine, I got to work on that one story so you're good-" but either way, Boomer will still make efforts to be home at a reasonable time so Eloise can go to sleep.

I JUST REALIZED WE COULD DO A CHILHOOD SWEETHEART THING WITH MANNY AND KOJO BECAUSE SHE WAS ALSO RAISED IN THE PILLAR OF THE MOON. Like, Manny actually having memories of Xiomara because she would've trained Iara and Manny. And like, THIS WAS WHEN XIOMARA AND MARI TRIED TO RAISE KOJO WITH MARI to give him a normal life but then his Celestial Jaguar instincts made him too dangerous to be outside of the Pillar of the Moon but HIM AND MANNY JUST BEING LITTLE KIDS AND RUNNING AROUND.

Kojo would show her the secret pathways from his home in the Sacred Tree and they'd run off during their lessons to hide out, mess with fisherman, scare random villagers trying to work, or just play with each other for hours until Xiomara or Jaci and Iara found them and called them down to train them again. But then when Xiomara died and Kojo ended up taking her position, he began to drift away from Manny because he became focused on BEING THE NEW HIGH PRIEST AND BEING IN CHARGE OF JACI AND IARA'S PROTECTION WAY SOONER THAN HE EXPECTED. He would start seeing Manny less and less and when she tried to hang out or invite him to play, he'd give her a sad smile before he's all: "Sorry, Manny. Maybe next time, I gotta keep training." So Manuela and Kojo...kind of not being as close as they used to be, especially with Kojo becoming an assassin to train his Celestial Jaguar instincts and channel tjem to kill enemies and not just mindless bloodshed. Meanwhile, Manny became closer to Iara and started seeing her as a big sister.

Then, Jaci and Iara assign Manuela to Yara Flor to help reconnect her properly and make up with the spirits she disrespected—causing Manny to join New Justice which Iara and Jaci also approved off BUT HER FIGHTING BLIGHT AND KOJO IS ALL: "...MANNY!?" and Manuela just smirking before she's all: "Oh, so you DO remember my name." And Ashton is all: "...Kojo, ya know that hottie-" and Kojo side eyes Ashton SO HARD before they fight and afterwards, he goes back to the Pillar of the Moon and he's all: "WHY THE HELL IS MANUELA ON NEW JUSTICE?"

Jaci: "Now what's with that tone? I figured you'd be thrilled to see her more often."

Kojo: "I- NOT-...Stop SMIRKING LIKE THAT-" and Iara is all: "I assigned her there. She is my champion, after all. If you take issue with that, you talk to me." And Kojo just stares at Iara and frowns before he's all: "...Whatever. I'm not going easy on her, though." And Iara smirks and says: "Good. She doesn't need you too."

Thinking about fluffy Kojo taking care of Manny when she's sick though (and totally projecting my desires rn) but he would be so sweet to her, man. Like at first, he thinks she's just being overdramatic but then he sees how genuinely sick she is so he goes into cuddle and cuddle mode right away as he puts his fluffiest pillows and blankets onto the bed with her. Covering her up and making sure she's bundled and taking some off if she complains about being too hot. Then he'll get his Jaguars to lay next to her, all of them purring deeply as they cuddle their mama Manny and she just groans sickly as she runs her fingers through their fur and sniffles because I DON'T SEE MANNY GETTING SICK THAT OFTEN. SO IF SHE DOES, I CAN IMAGINE IT BEING REALLY BAD. Like, she's crying because she feels so shitty and sore all over the place and Kojo just holding her in his arms as his rough and course tounge licks at her neck and cheek comfortingly, shushing her as she cried and he loves it when he cried but not like this.

He'd run her warm baths with salts and ointments that'd clear up her nasal passages and make her feel less achey, massage her scalp so good she melts at his hands and relaxes into his hold. When she falls asleep in the tub, Kojo carrying her out with a fluffy towle and drying her off as he puts his pajamas on her and just purrs softly at her as she whimpers and sneezes in her sleep.

Kojo: "Aw, my poor Maneula~ Don't worry, love, your prince is here~" and Manny just cuddling further into his hold as she clings onto him and sighs lovingly into his arms.

Kojo's trust is EXTREMELY HARD to earn and he doesn't give it out freely. Like yeah, he'll be nice and hang out with his team but he hates being vulnerable around them because he doesn't feel comfortable. If he's hurt, he's not letting Denji touch him and he just dissapears and finds moonlight to heal somewhere or he tries to find Jaci if she's around. SO MANNY KIND OF REALIZING THAT KOJO TRUSTS HER WHEN HE GETS HURT DURING A MISSION and he's all: "M-Manuela, I need your help." and she just sees the genuine pain and helplessness in his eyes so she carries him with her and takes her to the nearest area of moonlight there is and lays with him as it heals his wounds. And Kojo just purring softly and laying his head on her lap and he just mumbles out a soft: "...Thank you." and Manny smiles: "Anytime~"

Or like, he hangs around her and he's being super silent and Manny is all: "Something wrong?" and Kojo just shrugs before he says: "Are you being polite or do you actually care?" and she huffs in annoyance: "Of course I care!" and he smiles a little at her. AND LIKE WHAT THAT BEING SAID, Kojo tries to earn her trust. Obviously he's an assassin and if she's gonna get in his way, he might have to do some underhanded tricks but overall, he doesn't ever use their connection as a way to manipulate her or make her feel bad *not that it would work* but he comes to her place and sees she's beating the shit out of everything, he just chills against the wall and he's all: "Something upsetting you?" and Manny glares at him but he just smiles at her and she huffs and she's all: "MARTHA. SHE SAYS I AM TOO RECKLESS." and Kojo looks at the ruined training dummies and is all: "She obviously doesn't know what she's talking about." but he still listens to her and does his best to comfort her and be there for her the same way she is for him.

One thing that annoys me about fanon is that people forget that Damian's love of animals doesn't come from Bruce, it comes from his Al Ghul side. Basically, Jaci would have the same principals as Ra's and is an eco-terrorist but she simply goes about it a different way than he does. So when people write fanfics where Ra's kills off his pets or takes them away, I get lowkey upset because HE LOVES ANIMALS.

And even though Jaci, Iara, and Kojo have their signature animals that represent them, they all share that love and fondness for animals. Specifically, I want to talk about Kojo's fondness for them and how it shows in his own unique way.

He has NO issue killing people, he will slaughter and mutilate them to get his point across that he is NOT one to fuck with. However, when it comes to animals, he will hunt them but he will do it out of respect. True to his indigenious roots, Kojo does not hunt for sport or for game, he does it as a means to provide for Jaci's dimension and every animal he kills, he thanks them for it. And like, he uses the bones of animals he hunted to do things so he's not wasting any part of them. Turning them into jewelry *the claw necklace he always wears for example* or for his earrings and even his Celestial Jaguar Crown. He uses them as fertilizer for the gardens and shit. LIKE HE LOVES THOSE ANIMALS FR FR and wants to make sure they're honored even after death.

So him being banned from Ramone's lounge because he lowkey tries to steal his birds and Kojo's all: "WE'D TREAT THEM SO MUCH BETTER IN JACI'S DIMENSION." or like, when he's fighting Kana and her wolves, he will use nets and non lethal traps to capture them but meanwhile, he'll absolutely break every bone in Kana's body because she's not a wolf.

But also, him making bone jewelry for Manny and she tells him she wants a matching necklace like his fang one and SHE STARTS WEARING IT OVER HER HERO SUIT. But he'd also make her cool bone hair accessories and stuff and maybe even carve a whistle out of the bone and they both use it to signal to each other. Like, it's night time and Manny is about to fall asleep but she hears a whistle and sits up and looks at her window before she opens it and blows her own whistle to let Kojo know the coast is clear. And Kojo scaling the tree to get to her window before he smiles and he leans in to kiss her♡

Despite what people think of Kojo, I genuinely think he would be the more doting one in his relationship with Manny. Like, he's nowhere near as such with her like he is with Jaci, but he's aware that she's reckless, sometimes more reckless than he is, and he knows how to take care of her. Like, she comes back from a mission that was really hard and she's groaning and holding her side and Kojo just frowning and grabbing her, walking her back to the couch and laying her down as he looks for the injuries and brings her her medication and shit. MANNY WOULD BE ABLE TO HEAL IN WATER LIKE IARA, so Kojo just putting water into a bathtub so she can Percy Jackson herself and heal but he stands next to her the entire time. If she's so badly injured that her muscles are sore, Kojo will notice and he WILL help her by washing her hair for her and cleaning her off. Again, nudity between them isn't sexual so he just helps her out of the tub and dries her off.

Or, like, because he sneaks into her house all the time, he will sometimes cook some Brazilian foods that remind her of their home country. Like, she walks in and she's all: "Oooh, smells good. I'm surprised you found time to cook after assassinating a POLITICIAN today." and Kojo shrugs as he plates her plate and makes it look a little fancy: "I've got good time management, what can I say?" and she rolls her eyes but sits next to him and she just looks at him. His face looks so soft and so calm, there's no hatred or bloodlust in his eyes.

Kojo: "Looking for a fight, Manuela?"

Manny, giggling: "No, silly, I'm just looking at you...You're so...beautiful."

and typically Kojo would take that time to brag and gloat but the way Manny says it so sincerely has him blush and he just looks the other way before he's all: "Just finish your fucking food, okay-" and she teases him that she flustered him and he just starts ignoring her.
