I wanna do one more things before I sleep I'm fleshing out a world of mine- I think I talked about it before. It's called Manless. Manless is a world where an apocalypse sort of happened thanks to the hand of science, humanity was already running out of resources, sure they were advanced but they quickly grew desperate, relying on the intelligence of science to bring the world out of its state. You could say the four horsemen came to the world and made their marks- the lack of resources caused greed and desperation, the answer to that was always destruction and...madness. For awhile Science was able to create an eye in the storm- a peroid, an era of peace before everything broke down again, the peroid of poverty allowed desperation, thus allowing the fear of some things to disappear, allowing them to advance. Robotics was usually a hit or run- people either feared or loved them, the populace majority feared them, desperation allowed robotics to grow. The robots were...human. Human in thinking even, able to do everything a human can, they had emotions and some models could even preform biological functions such as eating. They bloomed, helping the world recover and even bring the world to an equilibrium with poverty- any poor countries were able to use the technology, because a lot of them took advantage first, a lot of them were alreadly used to functioning in a world where their citizens were in ruins, they could advance when the bigger countries were still trying to figure out how to survive. But eventually the bigger ones caught up- everyone had the same tec, everyone was equal. The robots created a brief moment of peace but it didn't last- greedy hands sought to control resources, the mindset humans had of being better came out. The biggest world war to date ended up rolling out- the world was once again in turmoil, with robots both helping and destroying humanity, and each other. People looked to science once again, but science, it was a human creation. Even the greatest human minds could take so much. Out of hate a single person, a single, brilliant person grew tired, they grew tired of the voices, of the agony. They decided to burn the world down. Thus was the birth of creatures, monsters bigger than buildings, things filled with hate, things made for destruction. They did their task, humanity had to protect themselves again- but being busy fighting, options were bare. That's how the world ended, that's how humanity killed each other. But all was not lost- humans were not the last race, they may not of been able to protect themselves But metal could be stored away. The robots- centuries they were sealed away, and when they awoke they were left with instructions on what to do, how to live. These were fresh minds, just barely being able to understand the instructions they mistook the word 'Manless' for their world name. That's how Manless started, with all types of robots: 1. Humanoids: Originally made to fit into human society, they look like 'Man', their shapes are humanoid and being a robot doesn't give them much extra abilities, their weak, more or less created in place of children who couldn't be created through fertile means, or citizens made to fit certain roles. 2. Constructoids: Large, sort of humanoid in shape but bulky, these were meant originally to help with day-to-day work. They were specialized to do a number of jobs, all owning unique abilities. But when the robotic wars came around it was found that their shape was good for combat, thus, they were produced with a different goal. 3. Dronoids: Dronoids are mass produced, a replacement for Constructoids when they were instead drafted into the military. Small in size and ranging from any number of shapes, they were made to entertain and used in day-to-day tasks (though not owning special abilities like Constructoids). A lot prefer to customize their appearance later on 4. Micronoids: Original blueprints were shown that they had the original intention of being a children's toy, a companion. But that never made it through, their tiny size and power made them almost impossible to hit, making them great for stealth missions and combat use. They can easily fit into the palm of your hand. 5. Synthoids: Created for factory use- they run purely on renewable resources and were set to replace older energy systems. They work in factories to maintain and guard them, their energy often derived from the factories, they can also mass produce what powers them and power things, their the newest model that was made before humanity died. 6. Giantoids: Giants, about the size of the creatures that destroyed the world. Very few of these exist thanks to their massive size, they were used to kill the monsters...but also as the ultimate war weapons and at the same time, they were stationed to be city guardians to the end of time. 7. Gardinoids: Mysterious, usually child sized, Gardinoids are sealed away with remaining biological creations- while few of those exist the Gardinoids protect them, emotionless and seemingly non-sentient at first. It seems the more they bond with the subjects they protect, they more traits they get, the more they gain a personality, abilities and their appearance becomes less blank. Their appearance is suppose to evolve, they have a custom evolution that makes them some of the strongest robots alive, it's usually smart not to pick a fight with them.
