THE GOOD PLACE - REVIEW

The Good Place is a TV show about a woman named Eleanor Shellstrop, who wakes up in the afterlife, & she's both relieved and surprised that she's made it into the "Good Place". But it doesn't take long for Eleanor to realize she's there by mistake & must hide her morally imperfect behavior and try to become a better person in order to keep her cover🌵 I heard nothing but rave reviews for the show, but as soon as I found out what it was about, I, for some reason, was so closed minded & was certain that I wasn't going to watch it. Then one night I saw it on Netflix & I was curious and thought I'd just watch 1 episode…I ended up binge-watching the whole first season in a single weekend. I REALLY enjoyed this show, it's funny, weird, witty, heartwarming & extremely enjoyable; it has very clever jokes, references, and plot lines that are very unique, modern, original, & fresh. I also really loved the format of the show, each episode is about 20 minutes long & every scene counts - there are no filler episodes or unnecessary plot lines, something happens in every episode and almost every episode ends in a cliffhanger that'll leave you wanting to know more. That being said, it can make you think & it has very surprising elements and plot twists that you'll never see coming! The show has a very diverse, talented cast that includes Kristen Bell and Ted Danson, who are as brilliant and charming as ever, as well as William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, Manny Jancito, and D’Arcy Carden! The Good Place is so funny, brilliant, clever, weird, & original; I highly recommend it & that you give it a try and watch the first few episodes... & you'll be hooked!🎈 8.5/10⭐️
