Modern day Shravan case, sets an example for today world

Re-enacting the part of Shravan Kumar, the legendary character who carried his old parents on a kanwar, four brothers from Haryana's Palwal carried their parents from Hardiwar to Mansa Devi on a kanwar. Their parents were able to walk but, the four carried them on the 'kanwar', to spread a message of love and respect. "We don't have any issue like Shravan Kumar's folks. We just want to spread a message on the individuals who disregard their parents," said the dad. Mahendar, one of the children, said that they made this move to influence people to understand the importance of parents. "Nowadays children treat their parents badly. We saw our neighbours treating parents badly their parents and after that we chose to carry our parents on kanwar to set an example for others," he said.
