While listening to the Woodstock album, in my headcanon, Shiro’s parents are older Boomers just like my folks and enjoyed the music of that time period (the Sixties). His friends mistaken his parents as grandparents. If being born in modern times, I’ll give him the birth year 1992 since he was born on Leap Year in canon. If so then his parents would’ve been in their early forties then. Parents past their forties are conceiving children now.

AU where Dick is all emo and rock band obsessed and Kori is a huge feminist activist who loves to garden and grow her own strawberries (and she happens to use them to make a killer strawberry shortcake) and Dick smokes and their both around 18 they have a picnic on a nice summer day and they basically eventually grow up and get married but these are just one of the old memories that Dick has that makes him feel nostalgia.
This is the only inspiration I had.
