inspired by minecraft or something else or just bc?

It’s actually a long story, what’s funny is I’ve had this name since elementary school because during then I would play minecraft on my brothers Xbox (he was the one that taught me how to play) and from the start HIS username was “phantomxlegend” and so because I was playing on his account I got called by that username (which was, as normally does, shortened to phantom) (the username is also typically masculine for that time period Ik like fem and masc usernames isn’t really a thing anymore I don’t think but it definitely was when I played as a kid and so I also got called he/him a lot and never corrected people. Which definitely should’ve been some kind of egg moment but not important)

So people in online Xbox chats would call me phantom and I really liked the name and I ended up stealing my brothers username and then the name kinda just stuck because every other username is use is phantomxlegend which again gets shortened to phantom enough times where that’s just straight up my name.

So I guess In a way it IS inspired by minecraft but not in the way you’d think and it happened way before phantoms we’re even a thing in that game.
