I misread "manticore" in someone's blog post as one of those "[noun]core" things, and I spent half a second wondering if it was, like, a typo of "mantis-core" or something.

This fella is a mantiscore - 2/4 praying mantis, 1/4 manticore and approximately 1/4 of whatever creatures a regular ol’ manticore is made up of. :Y

Trying to clean up my PSD folder from unfinished art when I can't get anything else done. This painting was *almost* done for a couple of months but I just never got around to finishing it until now. Having a billion other, clearly more important things to do apparently helps with this particular problem.
