बांग्लादेश में नौका डूबने से 23 की मौत, कई लापता
नई दिल्ली। बांग्लादेश के बुरीगंगा नदी में आज एक नौका डूबने की घटना में 23 लोगों की मौत हो गई। नौका एक अन्य जहाज से टकरा गई थी, जिसके बाद यह हादसा हुआ। अधिकारियों ने यह जानकारी दी। बीडीन्यूज 24 ने फायर सर्विस कंट्रोल रूम अधिकारी रोजिना इस्लाम के हवाले से बताया कि यह हादसा ढाका के श्यामबाजार के पास सुबह 9.30 बजे के आसपास हुआ।
रोजिना के मुताबिक, मृतकों में तीन बच्चे और छह महिलाएं शामिल हैं। फायर सर्विस के गोताखोरों ने घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर बांग्लादेश बीआईडब्ल्यूटीए और तटरक्षक बल की मदद से बचाव अभियान शुरू किया। बीआईडब्ल्यूटीए के ट्रांसपोर्ट इंस्पेक्टर एमडी सेलिम ने कहा कि बोट (नौका) मॉर्निग बर्ड मुंशीगंज से सदरघाट की ओर जा रहा था, जब वह चांदपुर से आ रहे मोयूरी -2 जहाज से टकरा गया। इसमें 50 से अधिक लोग सवार थे और उनमें से कुछ तैरकर किनारे पर आ गए।

बता दें, बांग्लादेश में ऐसी दुर्घटनाएं आम है। देश के कई शिपयार्ड में खराब सुरक्षा मानकों के कारण नौका दुर्घटनाएं होती है। वहीं ये नौकाएं भी क्षमता से ज्यादा लोगों को सवार कर लेती है और फिर खराब मौसम में उनके डूबने की घटनाएं बढ़ जाती हैं. इससे पहले 11 फरवरी को ही एक ऐसे ही हादसे में कम से कम 14 लोगों की डूबने से मौत हो गई थी। हालांकि तब 70 लोगों को बचा लिया गया। मछली पकड़ने वाली इस नाव पर करीब 130 लोग सवार थे। यह नाव बंगाल की खाड़ी से मलेशिया की ओर जा रही थी।
