I'm just really annoyed
Because Constantine's bisexuality can be (and has been and WILL BE) argued about. It's been mentioned, ignored, established, ignored, etc etc.
But he's one of those comic book characters who is supposed to be on the edge. And the show is ALREADY following the already well trodden path of paranormal investigation.
They need to bring more to the table, a lot more. John Constantine isn't a new character type anymore (if he ever was), demon hunting, angel involvement, a damned man trying to save his soul, a fresh faced character being dunked into the deep end it's not new.
And Constantine's bisexuality would be different than the dozen other shows currently running dealing with the paranormal.
YOU DON'T EVEN NEED TO SHOW HIM KISSING A DUDE.
A MENTION OF DATING A MAN IN THE PAST OR A 'I'D SNOG HIM' OR HOW ABOUT JUST SAYING 'I'M BISEXUAL JUST BECAUSE I'M CURRENTLY UNINTERESTED IN RELATIONSHIPS IN GENERAL OR RELATIONSHIPS WITH MEN SPECIFICALLY DOESN'T STOP THAT' also works.
Just, fuck, I'm sick of shows being unwilling to even dip their toes in the water much less rock the boat.
