manymusesofhannah mxryastor liked a thing for a smooch~
She’s nervous. She shouldn’t be-- she’s stood before the press a thousand times before. But it’s a particularly large group to- -night, and there will be cameras-- lots and lots of cameras.
She’s just fidgeting with her dress when Germaine reaches up and smooths down her hair, letting her soft hand linger on Ann’s cheek for just a moment. There’s that look in her eye-- that look of motherly support that her birth mother is too busy to give these days-- and the knot in Ann’s stomach begins to ease.
“Wish me luck,” she bids, leaning forward to kiss Germaine on the cheek.
I want to jump on the bandwagon and tell you again just how much I love writing with you. You have brought Ann to life in ways that no one else could, and I get so excited every time I read one of your replies because they blow me away, and I can seriously hear Audrey while I read them!
// Oh goodness thank you. *-* Trying to capture a character’s voice is huge to me so really-- that means a lot.
And also can I just say how much I love Ann and Germaine’s relationship??? Familial relationships are pretty rare in Tumblr RP, but they always stand out in my mind because they’re just so important, you know? I’m so glad you came along because they’ve really explored some interesting territory. Brigid, too, but Ann’s got plenty of bad influences in her life.
{We only have one thread with Germaine but hope you don't mind!} "You don't have to go get your mirror for me, I know where the bathroom is." Perhaps it had been a mistake to start growing her hair out, for now she found herself fixing it often. With a smile, Germaine rose and walked the short distance, to the large and beautifully furnished bathroom. "It looks a mess already!" she called out to Ann. "I wish I'd..." Silence fell over her as she spotted the item. "Ann? Is this yours?"-mxryastor
Send your characters reaction to finding a positive preg--nancy test in my muses bathroom.
“-- Is what mine?” Ann followed Germaine into the bathroom without a second thought, freezing when she caught sight of the test. She was so certain she’d gotten rid of it. How could she have been so careless?
She leaned back into the support of the door frame, her heart pounding in her ears as she searched for something to say. What could she say? The truth was there, laid out for all to see.
“I don’t know what to do.” All pretense of cheer dropped from her voice like a falling curtain; her face wore the con--cern of a girl who knew she was far out of her depth.

I've spent much of the past week defending the prospects of new installments to the Star Wars franchise. But this weekend brought news of a possible sequel to another famous movie that fills me with horror: Casablanca. The New York Post is reporting that there's some momentum behind a decades-old script...
