Amazing resource for calculating travel and travel cost

Obsessed over this tool made by the amazing people at Stanford. It's called Orbis, and you can literally calculate distance using various forms of Medieval transport. The travel time in my fics are about to get even more accurate!

It seems like it's centered mainly around Roman or Byzantine areas, but works around the Levant as well.

The last stable version of the most used mapping editor all time is here. I’ve been doing maps for a long time and the way how I do them is always like:

1 – For all the mapping work I use revision 620: (doing lights, terrain, object edition, everything)

2 – To test in game or to finish your map, I always resave with revision: 558 although revision: 586 seems to work fine at resaving too.
