This Crock Pot Low Sugar Maple BBQ Pulled Beef recipe delivers tender, flavorful beef with a perfect balance of sweetness and smokiness, thanks to the combination of low sugar BBQ sauce and maple syrup.
Ingredients: 3 lbs beef chuck roast. 1 cup low sugar BBQ sauce. 1/2 cup maple syrup. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Take off any extra fat from the beef chuck roast and put it in the slow cooker. Put apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add low-sugar BBQ sauce and mix well. Mix well. Make sure the beef in the slow cooker is evenly covered with the sauce mixture as you pour it over it. The beef should be soft enough to pull apart with a fork after 8 to 10 hours on low heat or 4 to 6 hours on high heat. Once the meat is done, use two forks to shred it right in the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce. You can put the pulled beef on buns or over rice, and if you want, you can add more sauce on top.
